Loved our stay yes as with all things there is issues with short staff but the staff we had the pleasure of meeting Adam Sam Alan Alison were brilliant.Would we stay again Definitely

Lovely comfy large bed and of space in the bedroom. Pool was good. Some dog owners need to remember that not everybody is a dog lover, they may have a fear of them, or allergy. Also taking a dog into the buffet area to possibly get tangled between people’s feet and more astonishingly to put their paws and noses on the counter to see what was there probably does not conform fully with health, safety and hygiene. Otherwise a good stay.

Was in room 33 in the annex some 50 yards or so from the hotel. Room was large with huge bathroom . Main meal at night was a very basic menu but food was excellent. Breakfast was just the usual full English.

Lovely quaint hotel! Fabulous location! We were made to feel very welcome from the second we arrived by Alan, who was very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was large and spotless! Evening food - satisfactory, breakfast was lovely though!!

Faultless!! From checkin to checkout the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was spotless. Really good for dogs. Would defo recommend this hotel. Well done in these uncertain times.

Had a lovely 2 night stay,the hotel is impressive from the front and in an ideal location for exploring.It is oriented towards visualy impaired people with lots of useful information and dog friendly.Even has a dog run. The hotel is a bit dated in parts but you can see some work has been done.We booked A double room but were given a family room at the rear.A comfortable room with 2 good size very comfortable beds,work has been done to the room with new curtains,the bathroom has a new hot shower,towel rail,sink topping and flooring but was let down by not being cleaned. The new floor tiles were fithy, cob webs everywhere,the grouting was mouldy and a large damp patch on the wall which was black and made the room smell. We had evening meal included ,the choice wad limited and the food basic nothing flash but nice.Breakfast was again nice but basic cooked full English or part of with a continental.The cooked breakfast only came with scrambled eggs ?? Had a fried with my bacon steak the might before ?? Despite these few issues would stay again for the location and very helpful friendly staff. Totally enjoyed our 2 days

Comfortable, spaceous and clean room. Good quality bed linen. Restaurant food: Dinner very high quality and generous quantity. Breakfast also very good with plenty of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall; for what I paid, it was excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were great throughout the stay. Food was good but a few things could do with changing. No sauce to go with the steak (£10 supplement) no choice of eggs at breakfast you got scrambled. Room was a nice big room (Club King) but it was not clean. Bathroom was quite disgusting actually. I spoke to manager on checkout about it and he said it was not acceptable and would go and have a look himself and deal with the issue housekeeping. Swimming pool was open but freezing and no sauna open. Not sure I would hurry back for £169 per night DBB

During these hard times of COVID 19 this hotel are a good example of how to do it right. Masks to be worn in public areas, hand sanitisers everywhere and socially distanced tables. Also table service for dinner and breakfast. Good natured,happy, approachable staff with good attitudes. I would recommend a break here and I would return.

Welcoming staff on arrival, our room wasn't ready so we had a walk into Bowness, the receptionist text us when our room was ready. Very comfortable room, spotless. We stayed in a club king, spacious & a great view of the grounds & lake. Had an evening meal, staff was very friendly & the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend to friends & stay again ourselves.

Lovely stay, very friendly staff. The hands on manager & Alan worked very hard. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view & the food was excellent. The pool is small and used at times for children's swimming lessons but was still pleasant to swim.

Room was a bit dated but fine. Ate in the hotel both evenings and food/helpings were good. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Hotel is just a short walk from Windermere.

We had a wonderful time at The Windermere Manor Hotel. The staff were delightful. Our bedroom was fabulous and the food excellent. We could not fault anything. We cannot recommend it highly enough..

We received a warm friendly welcome and were directed to our rooms in the annex. The rooms were warm, clean, comfortable and spacious (bath and shower cubicle) in lovely surroundings. Meals were served in main hotel (2 mins walk through lovely grounds). Very spacious dining room were we had 3 course meal and had coffee and drinks relaxing in the drawing room. Excellent breakfast selection and all staff were very helpful and friendly throughout stay. We didn’t use the pool but had a look and will use it on next visit.

Hotel a bit isolated from main town but was fine for us as we were just there to relax. Food decent. Room great. Staff great especially with the several blind people who were staying.

We stayed only 1 night but it was comfortable and friendly. Menu was simple but we were very happy with that. Room was good, spacious and with a good view. We would happily go back again and stay longer
