Spent two nights in the Cardrona this week. Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

On the whole the hotel was fine and we had a nice time but there were a few things that spoiled the trip. When we went for a swim there were no staff about to supervise and we had 4 children throwing rugby balls across the pool. The changing rooms were also dirty. We paid for an executive room and I could see no difference. The staff were friendly but the service was a bit slow. We had a really nice meal the first night but the second night was not good! Make sure you book dinner and spa treatments in advance

It's been a few years since I have been at the Cardrona and although the room was big, comfortable and clean, it was a bit tired looking. Staff were excellent, very polite and helpful. Would definitely go back.

We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, ie we asked if we could have robes they were provided. I asked the housekeeping for feather pillows once again no problem. They were brought to the room and placed on the bed. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

At some points staff were unsure about the different aspects of the hotel, surely bar staff (at the spikes) should know where the ladies bathroom is?? Expensive cocktail was not made properly - had to return twice to add ingredients. At breakfast the waiter spoke really loudly that my friend "had no credit in her room!" And that she would have to pay now the

Excellent stay. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very good gym and pool. Only downside was free Wifi didn't seem to extend throughout the hotel. All in all, very good value through Classic Britain.

Overall we had a great stay. My only complaint would be that a twin room should be 2 separate beds with head boards. We got a bed which was made as a double divided up in to 2 so one of the beds didn't have a head board.

This hotel has everything you would expect from a first class hotel.Would highly recommend.It would be difficult to find a better resort than this.We will definitely be back.

Booked several times with classic hotels and found them good. Would I book these again, A big yes. This one poor lacking in table service in restaurant, still hungry after dinner very small size portions. Situation for male changing room for the pool crazy would I book this one again do not think so.

Lovely stay in this hotel, good food, attentive staff and lovely rooms. Only small issue was the lounge/reception area is too small for number of guests however I understand this is being sorted in September. Would certainly stay in this hotel again. Do not hesitate to choose this hotel you will not be disappointed.

This is our second viisit to this hotel and again we enjoyed our stay. I had a lovely spa morning thanks to the Classic Britain discount.Our room was lovely albeit very noisy due to the wind and all of the creaks, would we return, yes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, room was excellent with lovely view over the golf course. Hotel was busy. Dinner was disappointing for the cost, portion size sparse. Staff very pleasant.

Severe lack of seating in bar area when the hotel is busy. Including ourselves people had to return to their rooms when you could have had their business for pre dinner drinks but there were no seats at all.
