Hotel lovely, rooms excellent, staff excellent, food was prob the best I've had in a hotel. Add the beautiful countryside and hills and we cant wait to go back.

Hotel was exceptional value for money.The only downside was the time we had our dinner 8.45pm this was the only time hotel could give us.

standard of hygiene in dining room could be improved on as I had a soiled piece of cutlery on two occasions along with dirty butter dish which had remnants of what had previously been in said dish. Inclined to put you of slightly!! Having to pay extra for basics like potatoes and chips also left a bitter taste. menu never varied in the three nights we were there.

We enjoyed our stay in the Cardrona, and it is worthy of it's 4 stars, we had a lovely room overlooking the golf course, the only thing that was not up to par was the service in the dining room, it was very hit and miss I am sorry to say.

Enjoyed our stay. Surprised that the menu was the same each day. Thought the spa offer was 50% 0ff all treatments and I was only offered it off one of my two selections, so I cancelled the other choice I had made. The staff at the spa desk were not knowledgeable about the percentage of the offer and I had to go back three times before they it was sorted out.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were excellent and I can see why they have won a customer service award in the past. I am a fussy eater but I found the food choice more than sufficient. My only small critism would be that they should tell you that you need

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the Cardrona Hotel and visits to local attractions however I was disappointed that given the fine dining and service in the restaurant there was no dress code. There were men dressed in beach type shorts and tee shirts.

The Hotel was well presented as usual. The policies on food had changed for evening meal all of the usual veg / chips required a surcharge as did the cheese boards. None were worth the exorbitant charges. 1 Glass of wine

Hotel lovely food good.I asked for poached eggs and back came one egg in the middle of dinner plate.The only criticism I had was small portions of food.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying there only thing is we should have stayed 2 nights as the food was excellent good service and lovely room with opening patio doors out to golf course and view of the hillside and of course the weather made it as well, have stayed there before and would go back if good deals on again.

Unfortunately we didn't stay in the hotel. When we arrived they could only offer us dinner at 2130hrs and this was too late as my partner had been working since 0600hrs that morning. We didn't find them particularly helpful over this and after 3 phone calls trying to speak to a manager, who we were promised would phone us back, we gave up and complained directly to their head office.
