The Inn at Lathones offers a selection of bedroom styles all furnished in a contemporary but comfortable style in keeping with the warm hospitality you would expect from a Scottish Inn.
Dating back to circa 1850, some of the bedrooms are located in the old converted blacksmith’s house. They look out onto the courtyard and in some cases, have windows looking out over the farmland that borders us on three sides. The beds, you’ll be glad to know, are a little newer! The rooms can be either twin or double bedded and are designed in light Italian furniture with a modern twist but still have great charm and warmth.
The Other rooms are located at the front of the building and as with all the bedrooms have been refurbished to the highest standard. They are spacious with large bathrooms and power showers. Two of the rooms have been designed with disabled access and facilities.
Hay Loft Bedrooms
The Inn’s two first floor Hay Loft bedrooms are named after a couple of legendary local characters. One of these two luxury rooms, Wee Mad MacGregor’s is named after a notorious visitor to the Inn. It not only has its own log fire for those cold winter nights, but it also has a bath and separate power shower. It’s not known if Wee Mad MacGregor slept here, but you never know!
The second adjacent room is named after the ghost believed to haunt the Inn, The Grey Lady’s studio bedroom offers the same level of luxury and comfort as Wee Mad MacGregor’s. Complete with real log fire, corner bath and separate power shower, it has all the modern comforts at your disposal including your choice of new king size or twin beds.
Old Forge Superior Bedrooms
The Old Forge offers superior bedrooms with contemporary design and superb comfort. Most have access to the decked terrace to the rear of the Inn with views across the open countryside. These spacious rooms have modern bathrooms with a Jacuzzi style bath and relaxing large walk-in shower.
