Merewood can be reached by leaving the M6 at junction 36 (Kendal, South Lakes) and following the A591 for 15 miles, past Kendal and Windermere, until you see Merewood signed on the right. Merewood is opposite the National Park Visitor Centre at Brockhole which is well signposted.

Unless otherwise stated guests staying on a rate inclusive of dinner will receive a seven-course taster menu in the Arboreal restaurant or an allowance of £49pp from the Grill Menu. Pre-booking dinner time essential: It is important that guests pre-book their dinner times in advance so that you can get the times you prefer.
Dog Friendly
On arrival your dog will receive a bowl, a blanket to sleep on, poo bags and some scrummy treats. We have a small charge of £25.00 for your dog's stay. Your dog is welcome in any of our bedrooms and lounges, excluding the dining room for health and safety reasons, which we are sure you will understand.
