By Car
From the M1 take the A19 exit towards York, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A19. Continue straight onto A1036, Turn left onto Skeldergate then left onto Cromwell Rd.

Are there lifts in the hotel?
We do not have lifts on site, however ground floor rooms are available on request, and our team are always on hand to assist with luggage.
Does the hotel have family rooms?
We have family rooms that can take up to 2 adults and 3 children. The Sir Joseph Terry cottages can accommodate up to 6 people and are ideal for larger family groups. We offer high chairs, children’s menus and cots/ extra beds too.
Is the hotel dog friendly?
There is only 1 dog-friendly accessible room and provide a cosy bed for your four legged friend to sleep on. Whilst we do not permit dogs into our restaurant or other public areas they are very welcome in our sun lounge area as well as our outdoor dining area. Dogs are not permitted in our cottage rooms.
Does the Middletons Hotel in York have a car park?
Yes – unusually for such a central city location – we are blessed with an onsite car park. Access is via a barrier and you will need an exit code from reception. Charges are £10 per night. Spaces are limited and cannot be reserved but we have several local car parks just a few minutes’ walk away should the rare occasion arise that we are full. Use the postcode YO1 6DU.
