The Pitbauchlie House Hotel has 50 en suite bedrooms which are positioned throughout the hotel on both the ground and first floor. There are 18 ground floor bedrooms. The hotel is set in 3 acres of wooded grounds and ornate gardens which are set back from the main road, ensuring a peaceful nights sleep.

Harvey’s Bistro and Restaurant 47 are the hotels two dining areas which both overlook the hotels beautiful gardens. The menu is Brasserie Style and offers choices such as Nachos, Haggis Bon Bons and Tempura Prawns as starters. Main course options include traditional favourites such as Steak Pie to Blackened Cajun Salmon, Confit Duck, Sirloin Steak to Burgers and Mac & Cheese.
From 12 noon – 2:30 pm additionally to the Bistro menu we offer a Snack Menu which offers a selection of Baked Potatoes, Hot or Cold Baguettes, Sandwiches and Tortilla Wraps with a selection of fillings.
The Dessert Menu with Pot au Chocolate, Strawberry Meringue Sundae, Panna Cotta and Sticky Toffee Pudding will temp even the figure watching sweet tooth’s and the Coffee Menu with its selection of Cappuccinos, Espresso and Lattes will finish off your meal in style.
Children's Menu's are available (view sample menu here) and of course we can cater for special dietary requirements. The conservatory bistro is very popular and booking is advisable.
Bar 47 Overlooks the hotels gardens and has views towards the Forth Road and Rail Bridges with the Pentland Hills in the background. The lounge bar with sofas is perfect for relaxing whilst sampling from the vast Gin and Cocktail List, or Wine Menu. The bar has over 70 Malt Whiskys plus a large selection of Premium Vodkas, Cognacs and Gins.
There is a small fitness room equipped with a running machine, step machine, an exercise bike and weights for guests use.

From the South A(M)90, Forth Road Bridge
Leave the M90 at junction 2, taking you onto the A823. At the roundabout turn right, follow signs for "Dunfermline Town Centre". Continue on A823 through two roundabouts. Turn right at traffic lights onto the B916, Aberdour Road (pub on the corner, "Cottage Inn"). The Pitbauchlie House is situated ½ mile on the right.
From the North M90 and Kirkcaldy A92
Motorway junction 3, follow signs for "Dunfermline Town Centre." Continue through 3 roundabouts, passing Lauder college and Asda. Turn left at traffic lights onto Linburn Road. Continue over 2 roundabouts and at 3rd roundabout turn right along Aberdour Road. We are situated 1 mile on left.
From the West Kincardine Bridge A994
Take the signs to Dunfermline. Carry on through town centre at first roundabout (Sinclair Gardens). Take the third exit down St. Margaret's Drive, to a roundabout, take second exit, Bothwell Street (Church on left). Through another roundabout, continue on Hospital Hill then turn left onto Aberdour Road B916, (pub on corner, "Cottage Inn"). We are situated ½ mile on the right.

• Please contact reception if you begin to experience symptoms during your stay.
• Contact the hotel as a matter of urgency if you become unwell with Covid-19 symptoms up to 14 days after checking out.
Regrettably, we are now unable to service your room during your stay. If you require fresh linen and towels, please contact reception who will supply you with a “Self-Service Bag”.
Should you wish your room to be fully serviced; this will necessitate a change of room. You would be responsible for moving your belongings.
Social distancing measures are in place which has reduced the amount of covers we can provide in our bistro and restaurant; therefore, please pre-book a tables for meal in advance.
Breakfast is served daily between 7:00 am and 10:00 am. Harvey's Bistro is open for food between 12:00 noon and 9:00 pm from Monday to Sunday.
When staying on a Dinner inclusive rate, guest have an allowance of £20.00 per night towards meals in Harvey's Bistro.
No lift, however there are 19 ground floor rooms.
