Opened in November 2018, the new Garden Restaurant at the Priory Hotel offers a contemporary dining experience with beautiful views overlooking the gardens.

Whether you are looking for lunch, dinner or just a bowl of soup, the Chef's ensure you receive the finest service and ingredients. An extensive wine list also compliments your meal.

The Garden Room Restaurant is open daily from 12-2pm and 6-9pm (bank holiday and weekend restrictions may apply).

The chef will regularly update the menus so we're sure you'll find something to delight your palate.

There are two entrances to the Priory Hotel, both of which provide parking to our customers. Please use either IP32 6EH or IP32 6AX on your sat-nav.

From The Railway Station

We are approximatley a ½ mile from the railway station. Walk down the hill from the station (keeping it on your left) and turn left under the bridge onto Fornham Road. Keep walking until you reach the Esso petrol station. The hotel signs will be visible on your right.

From London/Cambridge

Travel along the A14, leave at Junction 42 exit marked "Bury St Edmunds West B1106 / A1101". At the bottom of the slip road bear left. After approximately 1 mile turn right at the first mini roundabout signposted "Bury St Edmunds A1101" and continue until you reach the Esso petrol station on your right. The entrance to the hotel is immediately on your left.

From Ipswich

Travel along the A14, leave at Junction 43 exit marked "Bury St Edmunds Central A1302 / A1101". Take first exit left st the bottom of the sliproad signposted "A1101 Mildenhall" and "Town Centre". At the next roundabout take the third exit to "A1101 Mildenhall". Carry on along this road for approximately ¾ of a mile until you reach a set of traffic lights and an Esso petrol station. Stay in the left hand lane, proceed through the lights and the entrance to the hotel is the first on your right hand side.

Please note that the hotel does cater for a number of private parties and events (normally Friday or Saturday evenings). All parties finish at midnight and we may offer you to take dinner in our private dining suite rather than the Garden Restaurant.

Dinner allocation - Unless otherwise stated guests staying on a rate inclusive of dinner will receive an allowance of £24 per person per night towards dinner.

Best Available Room - you will be allocated the best available room on check in. Please note that an upgraded room is not guaranteed, unless you have opted to pay the supplement for a guaranteed upgrade. Please refer to Terms and Conditions for full details.

Pet-Friendly - Dogs are welcome at the Priory Hotel. There is a charge of £10 per dog per night which will be applied to your booking on check out at the hotel.

Children's Rates - When making a reservation to include children, the rate quoted by us will not include the children.
