The aim of the York Pavilion Hotel’s accommodation is not only to be comfortable but it also aims to delight guests.

For example, the Indian Room is inspired by exotic eastern touches; the Granddad Woolley Room, named in honour of a dear family member who made and sold fishing flies all over the world.

Then there is the Vino Collapso Room, which needs little explanation; the Library Room with its wallpaper depicting rows of books, and the Gardener’s Office, so named because it is a cute, detached bolt hole surrounded by the picturesque landscaping.

Others are named after people who were custodians of the house before the present owners, including the Prendergast Room, and famous faces, like British musician & composer John Barry and beloved comedy actor Frankie Howard.

The hotel also features bedrooms that have taken their inspiration from geographical locations, including the Scarborough room where you’ll feel right back at the seaside.

Relax in one of the have seven elegant four posters, seven beautiful canopy rooms or Romantic Suites - perfect for honeymoons and anniversaries.

The one bedroom apartment suites, across the road from the main hotel, come with sitting rooms, kitchenettes and are suitable for families as they have double bed-settees (additional charges may apply).

Langton’s Brasserie offers one of the best foodie experiences available in a stylish yet informal setting, in what we’d describe as an eclectic modern English style with a twist.

All of the modern and traditional menus are refreshed with the seasons, to ensure ingredients are carefully prepared and tasted at their very best.  The brasserie boasts garden views, a stunning interior and a welcoming log fire, and is perfect for fine dining in York. 

The range of menus are available from 12 midday till 9:30 pm in Langton’s Bar & Brasserie. As this is a popular choice with guests and locals alike, we advise reserving your table with us so as not to be disappointed.
