First time staying at the courtyard by Marriott I was very impressed. Checked in by Amy who was a friendly face and very efficient made it all very easy when you can be stressed after journey. Loved the decor and the bedroom although a bit small was very well kitted out. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of options. Nice staff. Was great to have late check out too as it made it easy to do last minute shopping being in such a good location

Our second stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean and met our needs. Unfortunately we were disappointed with breakfast, which was great last time we stayed, as the dining room was full and we were asked to use the buffet at the bar which we were told was the same. This was not the case, it was so busy and the food was cold. Sadly this was not what we expected and we ended up going elsewhere.

We had a lovely stay that was beyond our expectation. The welcome was great, our room was spacious and modern, and the breakfast was a lovely added perk to our booking. It was a great selection and all fresh. The location was perfect for us and also close to parking. I would absolutely stay here again.

Booked 2 King rooms for ourselves and another couple/ check-in seamless/ staff super courteous/ rooms were clean and comfortable/ the MHB deal for prosecco and late check out is first class/ had a meal for 4 in hotel at night which was first class where service and food were very good/ breakfast was also very orderly - no q’s and great food and service All in all this deal and the hotel being so local is tremendous

This is our 4th visit. Hotel is always spotless. Our room was upgraded at no extra cost. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Friendly staff, especially Paul Longmuir who is always very friendly and remembered us from our visit last year.

Excellent service, hotel is in a good location for shopping and sight seeing. Breakfast was varied and fresh. I had absolutely no issues with anything. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was a great location and a hidden gem. Really nice decor, friendly staff with great service and a tasty breakfast with a tonne of options. We had a late check out which was great cos the room was clean and simple but comfortable, bed was a little harder than I would usually like but was the only think I can mark the hotel down on.

Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was spotless, we had everything we needed for the two nights. Breakfast was good buffet style, everything there for a breakfast whether you wanted fry up fruit yogurt cereal there was something for everyone.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Edinburgh next to the Playhouse. Friendly welcome at check in and our room had everything we needed, comfy bed, teas & coffee, fridge, safe and spacious bathroom. The bar area is nice & cosy and breakfast had lots to choose from both hot and cold. We had a minor matter which was sorted swiftly, the staff are so helpful. I would definitely go back and recommend.

Was a bit hesitant when I realised we had booked a queen room rather than a king, no need as it was great. Really lovely stay in clean comfortable surroundings with friendly staff. Impressed, considering a budget hotel, would definitely stay again.
