Had a lovely night at the hotel. Room was clean and the bed super comfortable. Staff at front desk were helpful and accommodating. We had a meal included and we had a long wait but were offered a complimentary drink which was a nice touch. Breakfast in the morning had something for everyone. I would definitely book again!

Nice hotel, room was okay. no biscuits on the tea tray. Stay included a 2 course meal in the restaurant but not much choice if you don't want pizzas or burgers.

Had a lovely break at Courtyard by Marriott in Edinburgh. Lovely hotel and fab comfortable room and bed. Fab shower. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was most enjoyable. Bit annoyed to be charged for water but other than that it was fabulous. The staff are amazing especially those on reception and in the restaurant. Can’t do enough for you. Will stay longer next time!

Would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again. From start to finish our experience was very enjoyable, hotel very comfortable, food good quality, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at ease.

Lovely hotel, we stay in a king bed room. Room was lovely and spacious. We got a great deal through My hotel break which included 2 course dinner and breakfast which were both lovely. The hotel is right beside the Playhouse which was great as we were there to see a show. Staff were really nice and friendly and we managed to get booked in early.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Courtyard. We arrived early and were hoping just to leave some bags however the receptionist was very accommodating and allowed us to book in. The room was spacious, comfortable and warm. It was nice having a fridge. The bathroom was good, good shower and decent shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We had a two course evening meal which was very good and the service was also very good. Breakfast was brilliant especially the pancake maker. Very good value for money and the location was spot on to explore Calton Hill, The Catholic Cathedral, St James Quarter and it was perfect for going to the Playhouse.

Everything was absolutely first class. The rooms were lovely, staff were brilliant friendly and super helpful. The food was lovely all served piping hot and fresh ( I’d recommend the haggis Bon bons). The breakfast had a huge variety of fresh hot food, fruit, pastries and also specialist items to order. Absolutely outstanding value and right next to The Edinburgh Playhouse, we will definitely be back ??

Lovely clean hotel. Friendly staff. Food was excellently cooked but choices for gluten free were minimal and I had to have the same meal two nights running as no choice’s available.

Food took nearly an hour for the first course to come and it was nothing to shout about. Rest of the meal was nothing exciting and would of preferred to have gone out in edinburgh if it wasn’t part of the package. Staff were very rude for the duration of the stay wouldn’t recommend stopping here

Would really recommend this hotel. The staff and service was brilliant. Such a great location too. The only negatives we had was that the TV in the room didn’t work (maintenance did try to fix but couldn’t) and the room didn’t have a bath.

Had a fab stay at the Marriott, very central right next door to the playhouse if anyone is going . We drove up and used the Q carpark get the reception to scan your ticket and you will get discount. Breakfast was fab Evening meal was 3 course Xmas lunch - basic but tasty.. Rooms were lovely ,

We had 2 rooms booked here last week. Fabulous hotel rooms. Lovely breakfast each morning. If i had one thig to say it would be a small biscuit to have with coffee/tea in the room would have been good.

Excellent location as we were going to the Lion King at the Playhouse. Lovely staff, very welcoming even served us our complimentary Prosecco outside with some nibbles . Lovely room at rear very quiet situation . Very comfortable bed. Good variety at self serve buffet breakfast . Enjoyed the fresh pancakes and good coffee . Parking nearby at reduced rate with hotel validated ticket . Certainly return if going to another show .

Stayed at marriott courtyard for a surprise for my mum's 70th birthday, staff were great and decorated the room with a wee extra special touch, a card and chocolates from the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, pancake machine was very impressive. Definitely 10 out of 10 hotel can't wait to book again.

Location excellent, no issues with check in,Room was excellent, good size and very very comfy bed, Bathroom & shower excellent, although water pressure could be a bit more powerful, Fridge in room is always a bonus plus room was spotlessly cleaned everyday.
