We stayed for 1 night on the bed and breakfast and bottle of prosecco deal. Hotel is easy to get to and is approximately a 10 minute walk from Waverley station. It is also very close to the Playhouse with tram and bus stops on the doorstep.and plenty of eating out options within a few minutes walk. Check in was easy and staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. We were a party of 4 and one of the rooms was not ready at check in and the young lady gave them vouchers for a drink at the bar whilst they waited which I thought was a nice touch. Our room was modern, clean and spacious and had everything you could need (iron, hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee facilities). The view from the window was not great but that was not an issue as we spent little time in the room. Breakfast was a self service buffet and had a great selection. There was also a small menu of other items that were made to order. We didn't bother as there was more than enough choice for us. We had a great stay and we would return in the future.

Great offer. Great location. Lovely check in staff. Would return. Room was lovely. Only negative was there was a pair of worn complementary slippers in the wardrobe and no shower gel in the space holder. Both sorted asap. Bottle of fizz as part of the deal was able to be taken in the bar area. Great options for breakfast.

Lovely one night mum and daughter Date. Staff so friendly, especially young man on front desk, he was so helpful. Room was lovely and very clean. Breakfast had loads of choice...would definitely recommend Courtyard..also brilliant location in city.

Great deal, hotel lovely, rooms were very clean. Received an upgrade as our room was not ready. Had to make a change to our booking and my hotel break were fabulous nothing too much trouble. Would definetly go to this hotel again

Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated for tourists and I would be happy to return.

Room was lovely and very comfortable. Bathroom had a disabled walk-in shower as I had requested and was beautiful. Food was good but bar prices quite expensive. We were given a voucher for a free bottle of proscecco so that did help. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would consider the hotel again if we were to stay over.

Staff at the Marriott hotel were very accommodating and friendly which made our short stay very pleasant. The room was of a good size and clean and comfortable and the hotel was very central which made everything accessible by foot. The location of the room within the hotel looked out to the bin and recycling area which was very noisy on the Sunday morning with lorries coming in to empty everything very early on around 0500hrs. Breakfast was in a buffet style and was okay but some items were quite cold but you could help yourself to as much as you liked. There was also a continental option available. A late check out was part of our deal which gave us time to relax after breakfast and get ready.

Despite adding request for high floor and away from lift - guess what! However the noise from the lift did not bother us. Only view was a wall. Room was a disappointment - cracked tiles on bathroom floor and like other comments for this hotel tv was broken. When mentioned to reception reply was “is it still not working”. So they obviously knew the issue. Breakfast - buffet which was just okay. Though you could order freshly cooked items.

Fabulous location in Edinburgh. Just down from Playhouse. Room very functional and modern. Safe and small fridge. Large bed. Coffee and tea with kettle. No biscuits. Walk in shower. Bar expensive! Nearly £20 for two drinks. Breakfast fabulous but crowded room. I would recommend if you get a good deal. We paid £119 with prosecco and late check out

Our 2nd visit to this hotel. Very clean and central hotel, breakfast is beautiful. This year we didn’t have the evening meal as no offer, which we preferred as plenty places to eat. We drove up, the omni car park is literally around the corner, we were given a code for 45% discount . Would definitely return
