I stayed with my son on a Sunday night as it was half term holidays on the Monday. The price I paid was excellent at £59 including breakfast, complimentary bottle of Prosecco, 2 x Costa Coffee, bottled water and biscuits and a newspaper. The hotel itself is an impressive looking building, ideally located within a 5 minute walk of the train station and 2 minutes from the life center where we were booked to visit on the Monday. We had an early check in of midday and a late check out of 2pm if needed. I`d checked in online prior to arrival, collected the room key and we were on the 3rd floor with a decent view towards the arena. The room was a little tired and could of maybe been due a lick of pain and fresh curtains. On going out, I asked at the reception about the Prosecco etc to be told a voucher should be in the room, which it wasn`t but I was given one by the staff member. There was also no biscuits or water in the room. The fun started shortly before midnight when some drunken people returned and started arguing loudly using colorful language. Eventually the police turned up and took one of them away for a night in the cells. Thankfully my son slept through it. Breakfast was very good and plentiful with lots of choices. The single bedding had a dirty mark on which wasn`t great but we both slept in the double bed. I`d stay again but don`t think I`d pay more than £99, and that would have to be a Saturday night rate.

Ideally located close to train station and walking distance to town. Staff friendly and available to help. Continental Breakfast delivered to door early- wasn’t too ‘fresh’ by the time we were ready for eating. Rooms and hotel clean and spacious. Can be noisy with train station traffic.

The hotel is nice, close to the bars of the city centre and train station. The restaurant food was decent, breakfast was standard hotel buffet style affair, no hesitation to stay here again.

Jurys Inn is well positioned and very comfortable. It has all the amenities although there were no frills. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Julie on Reception. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Very central hotel, staff were great and room was fine for what we paid for. Everything worked and was nice and warm with the option to open a window if we wanted. Breakfast was lovely, loads to choose and refreshed all the time! Very good stay!

Bathroom was really spacious, big bed. Location was perfect as we were right near the Utilita Arena. Got a discounted price off the parking at the nearby car park. Friendly staff and clean room.

Room upgrade was much appreciated and the super king size bed and strong shower made a big difference.

Really disappointed at the lack of attention to obvious things. Checked in at 7pm and were given a dirty, room that was obviously still in use. Bed clothes lying on the floor and dirty plates lying around. Reception rectified the issue with an apparent upgrade however I still fail to see where any upgrade was... The bed was rock hard and although there was supposed to be a choice of pillows they all felt identical. The room was ridiculously hot with no thermostat only a standing fan that simply blew the hot air around and people shouting and screaming all night outside. Due to the heat of the room we had had to open the window so literally got no sleep whatsoever. On the plus side the breakfast buffet was second to none and the decor of the bar area and restaurant was that of the standard of a much more expensive hotel. At present I wouldn't be in a hurry to return but if these things were rectified then it would be a very pleasant hotel to stay at.
