Only disappointment is the smoking area directly outside the Hotel reception entrance would be a great idea if it was removed elsewhere. Apart from that had a fantastic stay.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Inverc hotel. I paid an extra £9 to upgrade our room to a kingsize room. Room was lovely and big with a superking sized bed. Room was clean and tidy bathroom was lovely with a rain shower head and a smaller shower head. Water was hot and pressure was ok. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good couldn’t fault the food. Breakfast was self service everything was extreme hot unlike usual self service breakfasts which are normally warm. Plenty of options very good breakfast. Gardens at front of hotel are beautiful. And you get a view of the water from here and in the restaurant. The negatives - room looked over carpak and into a house across from hotel so curtains had to remain closed. Long walk from reception to room with many doors and stairs I struggled what with being disabled. Bigger mugs at breakfast would be good as hot chocolate overflowed

Wonderful stay at Inverc Hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean, shower was great. We had dinner the first night and couldn’t fault it. Breakfast was good, because it’s a hot food buffet the food was a little dry and not very hot, otherwise fine with a good choice of cereal etc.

Had a fantastic weekend at the Inverc Hotel. Lovely bright large room with everything you could possibly need. On arrival the receptionist was really chatty and welcoming. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to help you

The hotel was lovely and well placed to visit Dundee and the surrounding area. We had dinner and breakfast the food was great with a good choice. Staff were very helpful. We would recommend this hotel and would return.

This was our third visit to the Inverc. Staff were all lovely from reception to restaurant staff. Hotel was very busy but the young staff coped admbly. Menu in restaurant was very good and was pleased to find my favourite seafood platter was still there. Weather was lovely and the waterfront is definitely worth a visit. Will definitely be returning. One of our favourite hotels.

Inverc Hotel great location and lovely room. Service throughout our stay was excellent. Menu for Dinner was amazing and Breakfast was outstanding ?. Great views from the Restaurant. All Staff were attentive to us throughout our stay. BEST MINI BREAK ?? CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK.

Booked via my hotel break, wanted double rooms but the system kept reverting to twin, after wasting time, we had to go with the twin bed rooms or have no booking. There was no upgrade available the option of late check out was irrelevant. The room was adequate, however we had to put up with 300 guests at Dundee fc banquet, with the football singing bellow our window at 1am, not acceptable. The dining experience was spoiled by your server named “Suzy”, she was harrying and seemed to be more concerned about the upcoming football assembly. Rudely banging items onto our table with minimal interaction. Moaning that she might be late to collect her child from babysitters. She also took umbrage at being asked by a colleague to help inserving me at bar, discourteous at best. She poured a Guinness full out, ignoring my request for her to let it settle. When finished I informed her that the head was not acceptable, again she said wait and it’ll settle. Her colleague took the pint, poured an amount out and refilled the glass. Upset me but I remained cal and polite.

Hotel easy to find and lots of free parking in the grounds. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Room had everything you needed. TV reception was patchy. The food in the Redwood restaurant was very good. Satisfying portions, very tasty and well presented. The seafood platter was a delight. Breakfast is a serve yourself. Continental and hot available. Fresh fruit and yoghourt very nice. The hot food was not of the same quality as in the restaurant. Breakfast is 7.30 to 9.30 and we sometimes find that early breakfast is tastier and fresher than later breakfast. On holiday who wants to be up at the crack of dawn. The only choice of egg seemed to,be scrambled. We skipped the hot food on the second day. Also not a fan of coffee from machine that makes a variety of coffees. Would prefer a pot of freshly brewed black coffee. Having said that I would happily come back here again in the future.
