Lovely stay, delay in receiving main course at dinner due to large party ordering just before us, but restaurant staff apologetic and attentive. Wonderful breakfast choice. On the whole staff extremely pleasant.

Staff on the whole were excellent with one exception. One girl on breakfast one morning constantly coughed over the cutlery as she was setting tables (it was stomach wrenching to watch) and took forever to clear vacated tables. However evening waitress staff, reception staff, concierge staff all good. Very speedy lifts, nice room. clean hotel. Food not up to standard, hot items at breakfast were dry or undercooked. Dinner was average (ie not restaurant quality).

Will not be back! Very disappointed with the food and also the delay in receiving it was unacceptable. A glass of wine and a beer cost

The hotel, service and staff was as expected from a 5* rating. Restaurant staff are particularly helpful and make dining a more enjoyable experience. The main downside to our stay was an administration error by Classic Britain as my initial was wrong on the booking and so the receptionist was unable to verify the booking immediately. Eventually the booking was confirmed but in a Standard Room instead of the Executive upgraded we'd had confirmed by Classic Britain. Glasgow Hilton did everything they could to ensure our stay matched the upgrade albeit in a Standard Room. Unfortunately, this is the risk of booking through a 3rd party agent. In the restaurant, I recommend the Ribeye Steak - only downside regarding the food was the beer battered fish my wife ordered as it looked as though it was old reheated batter which crumbled to bits (this is reflected in score below).
