We were delighted with the deal classic Britain offered. Our stay was great. Only one issue, reception staff advised our rate included 2 course meal in the Bistro. This was corrected when I questioned it but gave concern that some guests may not have wanted to question what was on offer. Staff most apologetic and otherwise VERY helpful.

hi katie the hotel was great only big let down was the entertainment ? none at all what a shame loads of poeple there would have spent money in your bar if was a folk singer or something even one person entertainment would have done . not your bar prices as well over the top even for the lovely hotel why ? food and bedrooms and ficiltes staff where first class shame about the other things i commented on that let everything else down pitty donald

atahis is a lovely hotel, the rooms are spotless, tea & coffee making facilities & a nice selection of toiletries. The check in time was 3pm & check out was 11am, not great times as we only stayed 1 night it did seem quite short. The leasure facilities are very nice, pool, jacuzzi (although broken) steam room & sauna, all very nice, although seperate from main hotel. Lovely grounds if you fancy a walk.

We have stayed in several McDonalds hotels and all have been very good some better than others in some respects. But our stay at the Forrest Hills was made very special by the staff. Helen (I forgot to get her second name) was the most professional and courteous member of staff I have ever encountered. She always seemed to be on shift and was always the same. This is one member of staff MacDonald's should keep hold of a credit to the company and the hotel. Roberto and Angela where also excellent..

The only adverse comment I would make was that the Hotel reception did not have details of our booking.They took a photocopy of our reservation details and arranged for the bubbly and chocolates to be delivered to our room.They said we were only entitled to a 2 course evening meal in the informal dining room. However,on arriving for dinner,we managed to get a table in the main formal dining area.

The bedroom hadn't been hoovered and the maid left a feather duster in the room. Our deal included wine which we didn't get. I then asked for it when we went swimming and still it didn't arrive. I had to ask a second time. My cooked breakfast was served to me on the table while I was still eating my cereal and it was luke warm.We were there for my husbands 60th birthday, so while I appreciated the room upgrade, these other factors were disappointing

Got off to a bad start - room was not ready until 1615 hrs, had to wait for towels at pool Shower would not work in room - apart from that we had a very nice stay, lovely area, nice pool. Staff were very helpful an d pleasant

The hotel staff were pleasant and the room was fairly large. However, the bath was very dirty and we had to call housekeeping services to clean it before we could use it.

Great place,but a bit cold when it came to living up to the "deal" had to ask twice for free bottle of champagne, and charged for dinner which was included in the deal.Great setting.

We had been along to Aberfoyle many times and had never ventured along the road to Kinlochard! Why not indeed!! What were we missing? A stunning view a peaceful area but most of all the fantastic facilities of Forest Hills. We have stayed at a number of the Macdonald Hotels but this must be one of the best too date. I had been looking for a nice place to go for a quiet break with my husband who has been working so hard of late he was badly in need of a bit of relaxation! This place was the biz! All of the staff were absolutely terrific from the moment we checked in to the leisure facilities to the bistro and breakfast room next morning. We only stayed one night at the start of a week away from home taking in Aberfoyle, Killin, Inveraray and Loch Eck nr Ardentinny. If I had known that this place was so amazing, I would have booked for more than one night for sure! The classic deal was incredible. Would certainly book with them again for the amazing value! Had a great stay at the Hotel. Enjoyed the Spa and the food was very good. Hotel is a bit tired and in need of modernisation. The Jacuzzi only ran for 3 minutes at a time and has been an issue for a long time according to other reviews of the Hotel. I would return to this Hotel.

had a lovely peacefull time in this beautifull hotel, enjoyed a relaxing swim in the pool. The rooms were spotless and the food was excellent. The hotel is set in a stunning location wich has definately set us in the mind that we will return again early next year.

Very pleasant stay and a good hotel overall. Great location and services. Only thing I found could be improved is the vegetaranian food options.
