Room was beautiful plenty of storage for clothes underwear ect bathroom was beautiful tea coffee milk suger and biscuits available plus camomile which I love spotless we had a meal and dessert plenty of choice hot breakfast was made fresh amazing plenty of continental too I most certainly be back

My wife and myself enjoyed 2 nights DDB at Carlton Hotel.Room was lovely and clean and good size.Breakfast and dinner were excellent with good choices and great service.Would definitely visit again in the future and would not hesitate to recommend hotel to others.

Had a lovely stay in the carlton hotel..reception welcoming and simple check in. Room was good size,clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely polite,excellent with their service and attentive. Dinner was lovely and we had surprise of 2 glasses of prosecco for my partners birthday. Breakfast again nice with excellent customer service. Loved our stay and would return.

Fantastic getaway at the Carlton. Stayed for a girls night about 6 weeks ago, hence the reason for rebooking as it ticked all boxes. Great staff, spotlessly clean, lovely rooms and absolutely fabulous food. Could not fault it. Looking forward to returning again - definitely a favourite myhotelbreak.

My husband and I arrived on 23/03/25 for two nights. We had a lovely time from check until check out. The staff are all very professional and nice. The food was excellent we had DBB dinner on both nights was delicious as was breakfast. The room was very modern and spotless would highly recommend a visit to this great hotel.

Fantastic overnight with mum and daughter-staff very friendly and always on hand. Rooms are fabulous and clean. We had dinner included service quick and food delicious. Same with breakfast but only gripe was not too warm and poached eggs were hard but I can cope with that but would def recommend this hotel

Awkward check-in at reception for me and my husband as I was advised upon arrival that the card details provided by ‘my hotelbreak.com’ were not valid and that I would have to pay the full cost of the stay. The receptionist was adamant that the ‘gift voucher’ would not be recognised (even although it had already been accepted by yourselves) this situation resulted in an embarrassing stand off between myself & the receptionist before another member of staff appeared from the office and resolved the matter. Not the best start to our stay.

Had a very nice 2 night stay, on the Thursday when arrived unpacked noticed light on the mirror in the toilet not working.Due to wearing glasses I look for a good vanity light.I informed reception on day of arrival but on checking out light still not fixed.Disappointed found room a little small but comfortable.

Lovely hotel, with mostly friendly staff, great food and lovely decor . We have stayed 4 times but and love rad hotel's but unfortunately we will not stay again because of unruly guests both night's. Shouting at 3 am in the corridor on the friday (wedding guests) sat room 217 shouting at each other for 2 hrs then blaring tv . Walls are too thin .

Lovely hotel throughout, food excellent and portion sizes generous. Staf lovely and helpful, nothing too much trouble for them. A small fridge in the room would be beneficial but that's the only minor criticism, would definitely come back, had a lovely stay.

We have been several times before and really enjoyed it. We did enjoy it this time too but it was particularly noisy and busy in the restaurant and at times you could not hear yourself think. It might have been better if we had been offered a quieter area in the restaurant as I noticed on the way out more quieter areas.
