Stayed two nights on special deal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room fine and very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Could have done with tea/coffee making facil. Dinner included in deal and was above what we expected. Very tasty and good selection. Well looked after by staff in dining room and conservatory where we had breakfast one day. Breakfast very good and fine range of food. Bar was quiet but both staff who served us were very pleasant and helpful. Drink prices reasonable. Would certainly recommend

Loved our stay hotel lovely and although you have a set 3 course meal we opted for the regular menu so we could go for steak and if you do that you get £25 per person off your bill and you pay the difference and the meal was fantastic. We were offered our free bottle of wine to come to our room or with our meal and we asked for it with our dinner and we had the option of white, red or rose. Staff were great and very attentive and the sea view from our room stunning. My only gripe which is nothing to do with hotel is the church bell it goes off every hour and this includes all night so if it's 3 o'oclock we got 3 chimes and at six got 6 chimes so didn't get the best sleep due to be constantly woken by the bell every hour.

Room was really nice had a lovely sea view. We enjoyed the food and drink but recommend going early for your meal as we waited till late and the choices I would have liked from the menu weren't available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was great except having a room on the car park side when there is a wedding on is noisy when it comes to coaches trying to turn in a very small space and people talking for around half an hour while they get everyone on board .I was woken up by this noise and kept awake from around 11.00 till midnight.

The hotel and gardens are lovely and the food was wonderful. Although there was a wedding on when we arrived we were treated as if we were the special guests throughout our stay

I only had one issue with this hotel. When we arrived we were told there was no water, we since learned they were cleaning out the tanks. The water came back on at 4 o'clock on the 1st August. We ran the water for two hours and it was still running brown, and sediment was cleaely seen, we had to shower and use the water that was available, we had no other option. My view is, if they knew they were switching the water off, and knew it would take a while to clear, no bookings should have been taken for the dates affected. They did offer bottled water. A lovely hotel, even better staff, this was a disappontment.

We had the best welcome ever in this hotel (and we've stayed in a few!) we were booked in for dinner, chose what kind of wine we would like and where we would like to drink it (wine was included in deal and we chose to drink it in the restaurant) and given all the relevant info we'd need during our stay eg breakfast times etc Room was nice with great garden and sea views. The lounge was nice and not pricey and bar man even let me sample some wine before I bought any. The food in the restaurant was amazing! There was a good selection to choose from, good quality and portion sizes and most importantly it was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the service was excellent! Good sleep in a big bed followed by a lovely breakfast in the morning, hot or cold choices with tea/coffee. Lovely hotel, great deal, relaxed stay, food and service wow! Will return soon

We had a most relaxing weekend break at Rosslea Hall Hotel and the staff were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I have never slept in a bigger or more comfortable bed. We had Afternoon Tea on the Saay afternoon which was wonderful. Sandwiches were varied and delicious as were the cakes. The only thing I would like to change is the breakfast, which was served buffet style. The food was cold, although there was plenty of it and it was fresh, there was everything that you would want at breakfast time. I would have had extra helpings, but the fact that it was not warm was a problem.

Great hotel with excellent food and service, only downfall was the double bed which was 2 single mattresses together, apart from that we had a great stay.

Overall a nice friendly hotel , helpful staff. The clock in the village church chimes every quarter hour and strikes on the hour 24 hours per day not the hotels fault but at 4am it is a bit of a distraction. A problem with the shower was quickly dealt with. Perhaps a slight lack is the absence of a small residents only lounge. We would be happy to use again and to recommend.
