We had two lovely days stay at the Braid Hills Hotel. We were upgraded at no extra cost to a beautiful room (202). The dinner was delicious as was the buffet breakfast. The fruit crumble was the best I've ever had! There was ample car parking outside the hotel and the number 11 bus drops you off in Princes Street. This was our second visit to this hotel and we will return the next time we stay in Edinburgh. Room 202 will do us fine thank you.

Sunday nights meal took so long to arrive, the restaurant was quiet. Soup was ordered, 20min later we were advised, that kind of soup was unavailable, another kind was offered. The rest of the meal took an age to arrive. Breakfast had a number of items missing. Poor service in a hotel we have used before.

Last minute Sunday DBB deal for 2 nights. A few issues on check-in about reservation and 2nd night dinner but resolved without too much fuss. Room dated and in need of updating. Shower was a wee trickle of water. A comfy bed made up for the room's shortcomings. Restaurant very good and evening meal and breakfast. Service in restaurant and bar also very good. Points deducted for reception. If a better room was guaranteed, I'd definitely stay again!

Most enjoyable break. Room was recently redecorated and was very pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was very tasty and enjoyable. One issue to be addressed was lack of availability of map of locality and Edinburgh

Enjoyed our stay at Braid Hills Hotel. Staff very pleasant and we even managed to get into the room earlier! Room was good sized with a mini fridge in it. The room did look as if it have been recently decorated so was all looking good. We had booked DBB and the food in the hotel was excellent, no complaints and good quality and quantity. Have to say good value from myhotelbreak.com at £63 each. Would we go back, without a doubt.
