A very pleasant overnight stay, which we hope to extend next time. Stirling has lots of history so worthwhile for a visit.Impressed with the food and bar area, particularly with the attentiveness of one of the bar staff......think he was called Graham.We’ll be back!

my wife and i stayed at the hotel colessio on friday 24th march ,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, couldnt fault the food and service,the only quibble i would say was the size of the room which we felt was quite small

Only small negative was the very small car park, eventually got a space. Would certainly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

My husband and myself had a lovely stay in the hotel for our 5th wedding anniversay. All the members of staff we came across during our stay were friendly and pleasant. The only negative I have is that the room was quite warm during the night, we had to leave the windows open.

This was one of the most pleasurable short stays we have had. We were informed when booking in that the restaurant was very busy as it was Valentine's but we were delighted to find that the normal £25 per head meal rate had been increased to £30 which covered the price of the set menu.We arrived in our room which was very well decorated. Nice points were the glassware and ice-bucket in the room. We also had a bottle of wine waiting for us which was part of our booking arrangement. After unpacking we had a drink in the bar before getting ready for our meal. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and engaged in what was genuinely friendly conversation. My wife had a fantastic tail from the extensive selection. The meal was of an exceptional quality and I was delighted to have the half lobster without a supplement. We had a great sleep and went to breakfast. We were not disappointed. Self service for juice, cereals, yoghurt and fruit. The main breakfast choice was one of the most extensive we have had and was delicious. Without a doubt we shall be returning here. Thanks to all the staff and management. I would happily recommend to anyone.

Stayed with my husband for 1 night could'nt fault anything about the hotel.Very polite,friendly and attentive staff,very clean comfortable room.If I was being very picky the seats in the dining room are too low for the table but everything else spot on.Would recommend this hotel highly and look forward to a return visit.

Evening meal was lovely although a bit noisy as the wedding guests were still in the bat area which is open air . Breakfast service a bit slow as restaurant busy but tasty . Will hopefully return if I can get another good price .

Check in was fast with polite,friendly and informative staff. The evening meal was excellent and again the Restaurant staff couldn't have been more polite and friendly. Breakfast had plenty of choice. The only downside was our room needed some tlc and the soundproofing between rooms and the plumbing in the bathroom could have been quieter. Having said that we would recommend this hotel to friends. Not far from the bus and train stations with easy access to the centre of town

The colessio hotel was lovely would highly recommend to stay there. We both enjoyed our overnlght stay for my partners birthday.Room was big and spacious modern spotless too.Staff were welcoming and pleasant.
