The room would be 10/10 but unfortunately there’s a major flaw. There were no blinds or net screens so people could see right into our room. People walked past and looked in while we were sitting relaxing on the bed. The car park was elevated so people going to their cars or arriving had a Birds Eye view. We had our curtains closed which is very depressing on a lovely sunny day. Real shame and our only complaint but privacy is high on our list. We’ve recommended your beautiful hotel to many of our friends because it’s a great hotel but having no blinds or screens is a real problem.

Easy checkin. Good choice from dinner bed and breakfast menu. Food portions in the evening were huge for us. Bathroom floor seriously needs regrouting. Slept well despite traffic noise.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the food was amazing! The rooms were a bit cold but staff brought up an extra heater. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel reception area and bar/restaurant is stunning. Very modern clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice friendly and food was excellent. Room was quite small but nicely decorated. Lots of parking available will definitely return.

Having been to Radstone a few times , we were disappointed with the food on this occasion , especially breakfast . Bacon rashers were stuck together and greasy . Potato scone was solid and inedible . Not the standard we expect from the RAD group .

What a lovely hotel! Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. Our room was so comfortable and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the comfortable bar/lounge and had a very nice 2 course meal. Plenty of choice and food was delicious. Breakfast also had plenty of choice and was fresh and tasty. Staff were so welcoming in all areas. A hidden gem and we would highly recommend.

We had a great 2 night stay at this hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the young waiting staff were efficient. Dinner was great, big portions , we had the 2 course meal deal however it was only starter and main that was offered. I explained I wasn’t a starter kind of person and they let me have a dessert instead but I feel it should automatically be either starter/main or Main/ dessert that’s on offer. Any way , the food was delicious. Breakfast was amazing, a hot cooked breakfast aswell as pastries, cereals, toast and fruit were all on offer, For me the only problems I had was the dodgy bath, it was so uneven and I felt quite unsteady while standing in it having a shower, it obviously wasn’t supported well underneath and the view from the room was pretty rubbish. But neither problems were worth complaining about for a 2 night stay. Great deal and good price.

This was a return visit (been a while) we required an accessable room which was good and the wetroom was well equiped with rails etc. the resturaunt was ok however the fries supplied with our meal were poor quality (or as my wife said crap) the breakfast was very good and the gentleman in charge (George) went beyond anything we have experienced before to ensure our breakfast was served in an area which did not require us to struggle down the stairs or walk further round the outside, Rad hotels should be proud to have such caring staff

Gorgeous hotel room - we stayed in a superior double. Although the beds were a great size it was two singles pushed together and you could feel a hard dip in the bed which is a shame. Otherwise, it was a lovely room! We were there at the same time as a wedding, luckily we started to fall asleep as the after parties in other rooms started to quieten down otherwise you would have been woke by the noise level from the other guests.

Couldn’t fault hotel , decor , service and food excellent . There was a wedding on whicfortunately meant the bar area was closed off, however , as weather was amazing we could sit outside so wasn’t an issue . Excellent value for money . Would return .

This is the first time we have stayed at a RAD hotel and we were both very impressed with all aspects from the minute when we arrived until we checked out. The room was very comfortable and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. Really nice room, not huge but such a comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. We were in room 16, which was well away from the function room so nice and quiet but wouldn’t have liked to be in one of the closer ones! Our food at dinner was great and the staff we came across were all friendly, helpful and polite. The only problem we had was with a very confusing issue when my husband ordered (or tried to order) an ‘old fashioned’ tail. The young barman messed around with till for a while, spoke to other staff, tried to charge him for tails he hadn’t ordered, then finally told him he couldn’t get one…with no real explanation why. We didn’t know if they didn’t have the ingredients, if didn’t know how to make it or what the problem was. My husband left the bar very confused and without a drink. Apart from that one confusing episode….overall a lovely stay :)

We were really delighted with our stay at the Radstone Shawburn hotel. The room was good size, lovely views and a massive bed, had a great sleep. Bathroom a little tired but spotless clean. Staff friendly, lounge and dining very good a food great. Especially the choice for breakfast was fantastic, loads of fresh fruits honestly the best breakfast we had anywhere. Excellent price
