Fantastic overnight stay for my husband’s 65th birthday. Paul and all staff were friendly and chatted easily making us feel at ease. Room perfect and slept well. Evening meal and breakfast were most enjoyable.

My wife and I have stayed a few times at this hotel and on this occasion it was her 60th birthday. It looks like the hotel has changed staff and the room appeared to be above the kitchen generating unbearable heat in the room, their was even a potable fan in the room so this speaks volumes, we did use this and it helped a bit, The food we felt was not as good as it used to be and this had been one of the key factors on booking the hotel. I did mention this on checking out and the lady at reception did suggest that we should have informed them about the room heat and she would have moved us, but as it was only for 1night I didn't see the point. We would not book this hotel again.

Returned after a very disappointing stay. We booked 2 rooms. One room at the back of the building with velux windows, no curtain and no outlook, even on your tiptoes. There was also the added pleasure of a security light going on and off all night from the backyard thus keeping occupants awake. The other room at the side of building just above the exit to the pub and above the smoking area! Need I say any more? So really none of the party of sleep had a good nights sleep. Rooms are tired and very small. The bathroom handle was broken and disintegrated in our hands when touched to enter the bathroom, fortunately nobody was cut. There was an issue with drinks at the bar, however, this was dealt with extremely well. Staff serving in restaurant were polite and attentive. The food was good quality and tasty. On check out, When asked about our stay … I asked if anyone had complained about the rooms before and began to explain what we found. We did not feel the stay was value for money. The receptionist became rude and quite aggressive in her manner. We will not be back and instead will stay at one of the many other places in the town.

Hotel was very clean. The bedrooms were spotless. We had dinner in the bar. The staff could have been better organised and there didn't seem to have a manger to organise them. The food was excellent tho. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were really nice and nothing was a problem if you wanted extra toast etc.

Everything was fine, the room and the staff. Only one small comment. The hotel had run out of gas so the meal on the first night was fish and chips or pizza. Thankfully was resolved for next day.

Hi, stayed at the Inveraray Inn for 1 night and got to say there was pluses and minus's. Firstly check-in was straight forward and the room was fine, tea/coffee making facilities and I've got to say the room was very warm even with the window open (heater not on) but wasn't a problem. We had booked dinner at the hotel and have to mention a couple of things, firstly I ordered the fish and chips and it was cooked to perfection, batter nice and light and the fish still moist inside, not over cooked as happens quite often, lovely. Now my wife ordered the chickpea curry, but when it arrived there was very little chickpeas in it, it was mostly sweet potato which my wife doesn't like and wouldn't have ordered had she known this. I noticed when the bill came it said sweet potato curry, but on the menu definitely chickpea curry, something they should rectify. I've also got to say when given our meals we were not offered any sauces or vir which I wanted and couldn't get the waitresses attention, she never came near to ask if everything was OK, so had to do without. While we were dining there was a couple accross from us with a little toddler on a hi-chair and the parents were giving the child a few chips which were mostly landing on the floor. The couple finished and paid for there meal and left. They're table was not cleared for a good 15/20 minutes and they just kept walking past which I couldn't understand, then the table was cleared and all the chips on the floor in open view were left for at least 20 minutes, they just kept walking past until eventually the waiter cleared it up. Not good. Now, breakfast, usual cereals, tea/coffee etc etc, and quite a good selection, which we ordered the full Scottish. The produce, bacon sausage black pudding haggis were all good quality, but the cooking of the breakfast was very poor, black pudding all dried up and leau warm, haggis, cooked at the edges uncooked in the middle again leau warm , fried eggs burnt round the edges not cooked in the middle, beans cold. The waitress must have known something was wrong with the amount left on our plates. It's a shame because it was good quality, but the cooking of the breakfast left a lot to be desired. (Have a word with the cook) We enjoyed our stay, just a little pep talk to some of the staff and it would have been perfect.

We had a nice break in Inverarary with a comfortable night at the Inn. We decided to eat elsewhere, although the restaurant looked busy and the breakfast was good with friendly staff.

We stayed on a DBB deal. We were allocated a family room with bunkbeds,even though we booked a double room. We were protest avail room but obviously this did not apply. Twice we were charged for food,despite being on DBB. The hotel is in need of a bit of updating and we don't think it was worth the price we paid.

We had lovely two night stay at Inveraray Inn on B&B deal. We were given the Cottage accommodation which had separate private entry. Initially we thought this was great, but wouldn’t want this room again as you are isolated from the hotel & have to go out in rain to the hotel for meals. Staff were very helpful.

Our booking was meant to include a Fyne ales package, that didn’t materialise ! Have ran out ! Was their reply when I asked for it. Receptionist spent 15 minutes looking for it before returning and just asked us to settle our account! Not good enough !

We've stayed here before and as usual the staff were very friendly. It was a pity there was a problem in the kitchen.The breakfast was not as good as usual due to the kitchen problem.

Lovely clean hotel staff and food were excellent would recommend. Parking available right at the front of hotel. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We went for a last-minute break, great deal with everything in the town so close. We ordered pizza later at night to take to our room and was very tasty. Our room was slightly on the small side but we did only book the day before arrival. Will definitely return.

Lovely 2 night stay here.Excellent cooked breakfast and very pleasant and friendly staff. Great location only 10mins walk to the Castle and just a few minutes into the centre of Inveraray.
