We had no complaints to make about the hotel the food or the staff they were excellent . Unfortunately our own health was not at its best so we were not able to enjoy our break as much as we normally do.

Staff very welcoming and attentive. Food was great , room was clean and well stocked with toiletries. Didn't take advantage of pool and spa but it looked great will definitely try it the next time.

Very friendly relaxed hotel. Food was excellent and the staff were great. Also a great base to explore the beautiful scenery of the area. The room was small (Garret room) but clean and comfortable and had a partial Loch view. I should imagine some of the other rooms are much bigger and better but for the price we paid in a.special spa break deal it was more than adequate. Went for a 2 day spa break to relax and unwind - ticked every box! Will definitely be back.

The first thing i noticed in the hotel was that the carpets on the stairs and landing on the way to our room looked as if they had not been hoovered for a while. Our room was very disappointing, the carpet was well stained and the furniture old. Our view was fine- a partial Loch view. The bathroom was very dated and the tiled floor had a huge crack along the middle. The mirror light did not work either. When we showered on the first night the bathroom got really steamy. We then realised that the fan had been switched off on the outside of the bathroom as had the towel heater. We switched both to on and that made a difference. The shower was very poor with not a lo0t of pressure. Our deal included the 6 course tater menu which we enjoyed on the first night. The second night we asked if we could swap to the bar menu as my husband felt there wasn't any thing he would have eaten on the taster menu. This was done with no problem and although not a huge choice the portion sizes were. Having checked out the other well known reviews site I can honestly say that I can't see where over 1000 guests felt it was Excellent. Maybe my husband and I were just unlucky with our room although we did speak with another couple on our second night and they said their experience was just as disappointing as ours. The hotel needs a major up grade, if this happens we would go back again as it is such a picturesque area.

Truly amazing hotel , staff and management go the extra mile . Tremendous value for money on our deal . Food was exceptional and outdoor hot tub a big hit for us . We will be returning to this hotel sooner rather than later . A wonderfully relaxing experience that we so badly needed was had at this hotel . The whole team are a credit to the Crerar Family . No hesitation in recommending this fantastic hotel .

Lovely hotel, lovely food and all staff very pleasant and helpfull. The only one small fault was our bed, was too soft we thought it was the mattress topper, but when we pulled back the sheet, the mattress was layered with duvet covers!! Room 111

Lovely hotel, however would not view it as dog friendly. The dog is only permitted in the bedroom and a small area at the front door which is not near any bar or lounge. The service in the restaurant was quite slow on our second night and had I not been on a DBB deal, I wouldn't not have paid the money for the food on the taster menu. Staff friendly. Alcohol prices are quite expensive. Pleasant stay, however would not return if had to bring the dog as £12 per night in the room alone is unacceptable.

What a gorgeous location for a mini break. Our room was really spacious and beautifully decorated, the bed was really comfortable. The only small issue with the room was lack of drinking water as there was impossible to get cold running water from the bathroom mixer taps. The leisure suite was well appointed and spotlessly clean. We didn't realise that robes were only provided if you are on a spa break or superior room, we could have paid a small supplement for them if we had known before we went to pool. We didn't think about it until we saw that nearly every other person in the leisure suite which is why we enquired a check out. We had the 6 course taster menu, the food was delicious but the portions were extremely small. The lounge area is lovely but the bar man on duty the night we stayed needed some customer service skills! There is an extensive range of gins but both drinks i ordered had to be replaced due to the barman tipping a whole bottle of tonic water in each time, he wasn't even asked for tonic along with the second drink. Staff in the dining room for dinner and breakfasts were fantastic. The high point of our stay was definitely breakfast, it was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had, massive range of cold buffet and porridge and an extensive cooked menu also. Overall we had a great weekend and we would definitely stay again if we have another stay in Inveraray

Very pleasant stay at the loch fyne hotel and spa. Excellent location next to Iverary which is a lovely small village with a great pub. Food at the hotel was great, both the evening 6 course taster menu and the breakfast -fantastic deal to get the 6 course dinner both nights. Pool amen great - excellent jacuzzi with great views over the loch and mountains. Only negatives are the decor in the room was a bit dated as was the decor in the pool area. Can't complain though as the deal was excellent value for money and I would highly recommend to friends.

Unbelievable value for money. Two night stay with dinner bed and breakfast for only £95. The taster menu was excellent with the available option to swap in items from the main menu at a very reasonable supplement an ideal alternative. The taster menu also changed on each of the two days we stayed meaning that you were assured of variety and choice if deciding not to supplement other courses at greater cost.

Superb stay celebrating my 65th birthday with my wife. The taster menu was excellent and nothing was any bother if we wanted no shellfish etc. I would suggest that you advise guests to book spa treatments in advance as there were no appointments left when we got there. We will be back.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the room was most welcoming - the service excellent - my husband and myself are both coeliacs and when taking our food order the staff always advised what was available for us - we enjoyed a swim whilst there and the pool was lovely -

We had a lovely stay overall but the hotel itself is badly needing attention everywhere rooms are really very shabby and lounge area could do with freshening up. Meals were excellent I have to say and spa facil are good but not enough room in changing rooms 2 people in it and it's full also very cold in changing room think there was air con on!!

I was very disappointed with the standard of the bathroom. Expected more from a 4 star hotel. Toilet roll holder was off the wall and there was black mould all down the bath panel. The service in the restaurant however, was a different story. All the staff where very attentive. The waitress who served us both at breakfast and dinner was extremely helpful. Hot tub was great.

The hotel was well-appointed, friendly/ helpful, warm and had excellent facil - spa, pool, hot tub, gorgeous food and views, cosy/snug area, Wi-Fi and PC use and we really enjoyed our stay. The only 3 comments I would make are: - that the restaurant booking times started only at 6.30pm so it was difficult to manage that for us with a 15mth old child, who usually would eat earlier. As we were there on a DBB rate, it would have prolonged our mealtime if we'd fed her first in the bar and then ourselves in the restaurant and of course, we wanted to enjoy our dinner experience too! 6pm would have been easier. - that we had to take our dog and were told that would be an extra £10 charge with a total of £288, but in fact the hotel argued it was £10/ night so our total charge was £298. Just a wee point - but it would have been better agreed and stuck to either way. - that I left a cardigan in the room on departure and called on our journey home as soon as I realised, yet it has never been found or handed in - very strange and not really what you want from a 4 star hotel! (That changed our service rating from a 10 to a 7...)
