Had a wonderful break - despite being unwell. Bedroom with terrific view made it so much better. Food what i could partake of great. 10 out of 10th for all categories. Staff helpful & very friendly. Only fear of recommending it could make getting booked difficult in future.

Have just spent a most enjoyable weekend at Golf View Hotel. I could not speak highly enough of the hotel. The comfort, food ,helpful and pleasant staff, location, and not forgetting the Spa were excellent. My friend and I look forward to repeating our experience.

Overall we had an enjoyable 3 day break at the Golf View. The one disappointment was the very slow service in the restaurant on our first night. There were enough waiters - I think the problem was in the kitchen. However on the next occasion the service was much better. Breakfasts were really good, the staff attentive and friendly. Wi-fi worked a treat allover the hotel. The bedroom was freshly decorated and very clean. The hotel is right beside the lovely seaside walk into Nairn.

The hotel it's self was lovely cannot fault bar and restaurant and the staff . My only complaint is the housekeeping side my shower was dirty a build up of soapy scum and a spiders web on the small window did ask to have it cleaned and removed but this did not happen. The cleanliness within the hotel was ok but a few things letting them down ie bottom of doors rims and shower plugs, baths all could be better considering this is a 4 star hotel.was a but let down by this but did not dampen the stay. Do hope to return if they get their cleaning standards sorted

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was excellent. Only thing that let it down was broken TV stand and toilet seat which made rooms look shabby. Excellent value for money, will be back.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful hotel on 2 January. Every member of staff we met was both pleasant and helpful. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom with separate bath and shower unit. Certainly couldn't fault our stay. We will be back!

Bedrooms were a bit outdated but were in a good clean order. Food was very slow in coming for the 5 course taster menu but Manager sorted our problem for our 2nd evening very promptly. Leisure facilities were great .

We were absolutely delighted with our bedroom. It certainly lived up to Classic Britain's guarantee of "best available room" Whilst the taster menu was interesting the service was very slow. We chose to eat in the conservatory on the second night and the food and service were excellent. We had invited our family to join us and the staff ensured our 3 grandchildren, all under 6, had the food they wanted. Service at breakfast in the dining room was better. All in, a very enjoyable stay.

We spent 4days at the hotel & we found the staff very friendly & helpful. We were given a super room which had a large lounge area & good en suite with separate shower & bath. We will certainly return as we found the hotel excellent value.

The hotel was lovely BUT the management was very poor. We arrived early for lunch was directed to the conservatory waited there to be seated for 10min while various staff came and went at the bar eventually advised there would be a 30-40min delay as there was a party booked in. So we had to go elsewhere surely if you take on additional covers then you ensure your staffing levels are adequate to deal with this. While waiting at desk an elderly gentleman asked for assistance with baggage he was still standing outside 5-10min later in the rain.the visiting group were still being given priority over guests I did leave a comments form and did speak to the reseption this was a most unpleasant experience as while speaking this young man slide along on his chair .didn't introduce himself . interrupted . said he knew all about it it was an 80th birthday party . I quietly explained my concerns he constantly spoke over me had the lack of respect to answer a phone while I other staff were available without excusing himself he was rude argumentative and disrespectful .I also spoke about the older gentleman and he said he knew all about it and he was not left outside which I had witnessed Most importantly not once did he try to take me to a more private area NOR apologise first rule of customer care. So all in all an unpleasant silver wedding treat I thought I would have had a reply from my comments form

We had a lovely time at the golf view hotel. This was our fourth time and wont be the last WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM WITH A SEA VIEW I WOULD PREFER THE TABLE DE HOT MENU SAYING THAT THE FOOD IS LOVELY THE STAFF WERE ALL GREAT A SPECIAL THANKS TO EDITH

Our stay was very enjoyable. The situation of the hotel undoubtedly helped. Lovely room, friendly, hard working and helpful staff (but staff numbers clearly too low for level of occupancy. Food was excellent - the Taster Menu at dinner is a highly successful idea. Terrific leisure facilities. We hope to be back and shall certainly recommend the hotel to others.

Our second visit to Golf View this year and just as good as our first. Gracious highland hospitality at it's best!
