Wonderful stay. We were upgraded when we checked in and had a wonderful, extremely spacious suite/room in the building to the side of the main hotel. It was perfect for us as it was very quiet and very private. There is so much to do at this hotel and we loved our segway experience. Would love to go back for longer!

Of all the hotels I have ever stayed in, Crieff Hydro has to be the best. The service & facilities are second to none. The food was excellent, the room we had was very spacious & comfortable but most of all the staff could not do enough & were very professional. The Victorian Spa is also worth a visit, at a small additional cost it's simply wonderful.

Dinner was lovely but sadly breakfast the food was cold that was served from the hotplate.My mum even went up again to try and get something hot but the fried eggs were cold.Shame as lovely hotel

When I visited the hotel I was unwell and only slept there . Unfortunately I didn't use any of the facilities or even get to walk around the grounds which was a shame as it looked so nice , maybe another time .

This was the fourth time we have stayed at the Crieff Hydro and enjoyed it thoroughly. The newly refurbished bedroom and bathroom were excellent. We stayed for three nights and ate in the Meikle Restaurant each evening. Having different signature dishes for each course in addition to the set menu provided plenty of choice. The presentation, quality of food and range of wines were excellent. The weather was terrible so instead of going out, we did spend more time in the Winter Garden than previously. A very relaxing place to read your newspaper or book with a good range of drinks and snacks available. All in all a most enjoyable stay - we will return!

It is not made clear when booking that the superior rooms are in a separate building from the main hotel/spa. It was quite dark walking up for dinner which was quite a disappointment. The spa is a bit grubby.

Enjoyed our overnight stay at Crieff Hydro and was delighted after booking a superior room to be upgraded to an executive room. The hotel was clean, warm and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Looking forward to staying longer on our next visit.

The hotel was very busy and we were allocated a room iway up in the eves. I got the impression that we were allocated this room because our stay was part of a package deal. I would certainly not have been happy staying in the room we were allocated had I paid full price. This is the second time I have been allocated a basic room in the eves of a hotel following booking with Classic Britain. There were no robes or slippers provided in our room which did make our trip to the Victorian spa less enjoyable as we were only allocated one towel which we had to keep to dry with .

Overall our 3 nights B&B & Evening meal arrangement was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly & helpful, the room was pleasant and the food was of a good standard. The fixed menu in the Meikle restaurant was virtually unchanged during our stay with the evenings special on 1st night being repeated on our 3rd night. The facilities such as the leisure centre were excellent with plenty to occupy your time, particularly for families. The evening entertainment published on their web site was inaccurate and some of the entertainment did not occur, although there was a daily information flyer regarding what was on. Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Crieff Hydro.

Excellent welcome from reception staff. Clean and good size bedroom. Excellent service in the dining room where all staff were friendly and very helpful. Plenty of activities for all ages and abilities. Reason for only scoring 7 for food is because I was disappointed that it was English cheeses served at breakfast and the fruit was oranges, prunes and grapefruit. With Perthshire being famous for its soft fruits it would have been more appropriate to have these on offer. Scotland is famed for its abundance of Scottish Cheeses yet there were none to sample. Overall an excellent break geared for families

We enjoyed our break at Crieff Hydro very much. We have been many times before but feel there were some disappointing aspects which we must point out - Cinema was out of use for the entire stay. Jaccuzzi was not working on our last morning. We had to wait 40minutes while staff in Brasserie found and worked out our bill.

We received excellent service from the waiting/bar staff at this hotel. We paid a little extra to book a superior room which was very comfortable but we were very disappointed with the rooms situation. We were put in a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking a stair well and the car park. When I asked at reception if we were in a superior room, I was informed that it was a superior room and that the view does not reflect the quality of the room or its facilities. I have to say I found it disappointing and in my opinion the reception staff were not as accommodating as they could have been and I felt as though because we had booked through Classic Britain that we were treated as "customers only looking for a deal". I have booked with Classic Britain a number of times and have always been more than happy with the accommodation we have previously had. I have also informed family and friends about the website as I have felt I always received good value for money but not on this occasion.

The hotel was recommended to me and I found that it lived up to and surpassed expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The customer service was exceptional and the staff knowledgeable and skilled in their jobs. It would be beneficial to improve the air conditioning in the bedrooms for the summer heat.

thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! first time at Crieff Hydro. staff very helpful,food excellent and we really loved our room, especially our view, the only one thing that we had to complain about was one of the chairs in the room very stained(looked as if someone had been sick on it!!!)we phoned to reception and they came imediately and changed it , so no complaint there and it was dealt with right away. would def go back. .
