Crown Hotel, Harrogate

We had a fantastic stay at The Crown Hotel. What a beautiful magnificent decor it has too . The food was amazing as we're the staff. Planning our next trip shortly because Harrogate is a a lovely town and this hotel is in the middle of it all.

When we arrived they had no booking 4 us so told us we must b staying at nearby crown plazza so we webt there parked up but they said we where staying at crown.. so after messing about 4 40 minz ended back at crown.. showed her my booking on my phone but said she had no record of it.. so i had to email it to the hotel then they booked us in!!.. after that everything was ok and will go back infact have booked t go again in december

Hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was lovely good choice of every thing. Was right in middle of every thing. Had evening meal was very nice, best potato and leek soup we have tasted. Would definitely go back

We had a fab time with friends ant th crown hotel. The hotel was lovely, the food was great and we couldn’t believe this was only £69 per couple. We would definitely go back again soon even if we have to pay more. Very good.?

We were very pleased with our stay for two nights dinner bed and breakfast - we had bottle of wine in our room - the room was very spacious and comfortable with all the requirements you would want. The evening meals were excellent and exceptionally good value with starter, main course and desert - the service was very good and attentive - our breakfast each morning was excellent with a whole range of foods and again the service was attentive and good - we certainly will come back again thank you

Had a great 2 night break at the Crown Hotel. The place is full of character. Our room was very basic, but extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. Food was excellent and we enjoyed all our meals. We will definitely be back.

We paid £69 for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast which was excellent value. The food was gorgeous and worth more than we paid for the whole night ! The hotel is perfect location just across the road to the main shops, pubs and restaurants. We will definitely return.

Centrally placed clean, comfortable hotel. Breakfast choices plentiful. Room spacious and with everything we needed for an overnight stay. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

We had a lovely time for our one night break. I had no issue with the room for the cleanliness was superb, the room itself was a little dated but hey, what do you expect from a building of such an age. The floor was a bit creaky, so much so we had a real giggle about it. The restaurant was beautiful, food was just perfect and the service was next to none. In fact all of the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast had a huge choice and was very nice indeed. This was an anniversary gift and we thoughroughly enjoyed ourselves and for the deal which was purchased, it was more than worth its value. We will return sooner rather than later, Thank You!

2nd stay at this hotel in a space of three months as we now love visiting Harrogate. We actually managed to park at the hotel which is a bonus but that's to be expected with the size of the hotel and limited parking spaces, checked in no problems again we don't bother with cream team so cant review that sorry to say. Hotel is very central for us and our use, lovely as usual and we love the old feel of the building, room nice and clean and hotel has this nice calm feel around hence we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Each time we come to Harrogate we will be looking to stay at the Crown Hotel as well this is how impressed we are with the accommodation.

Lovely building, with lots of character. Room was a good size twin and was very clean! Lovely products in the bathroom from a local store. Quiet rooms throughout the whole stay. Breakfast was fabulous! 5?? an excellent selection and all cooked beautifully! Staff were all friendly and attentive! Would stay defiantly stay again! Highly recommend and close to a variety of bars, shops and restaurants.

What a lovely stay we had at The Crown Hotel from check in to Check out the staff were very helpful & friendly . We ate in the restaurant in the evening for which we paid a minimal amount towards . The food was lovely , 3 courses although the service did leave a lot to be desired , I think they were short staffed and we felt like we had been forgotten. The Hotel is very old and has very creaky floorboards but again that didn't bother us . Breakfast is in a lovely hall , but to say it was disorganized is an understatement !! There were staff milling about , but no organization at all . The food was cold and they were constantly running out , which consequently led to long queues and people complaining . We ordered a poached egg which has to be cooked on request , by the time it arrived we had almost eaten our breakfast !! Such a shame , but I think the breakfast is a big let down .
