Fab hotel, staff excellent and very helpful friendly, bar, breakfast restaurant and rooms excellent. Breakfast was lovely hot and cold buffet very good selection and freshly cooked. Definitely recommend and would go back.

Good check in and early thank-you , hotel definitely has upped it's game , excellent environmental changes and security changes , bottle of wine on the house and a free drink at the bar along with a very comfortable room and a comprehensive breakfast , location perfect for the City/Town for sightseeing, staff very helpful, yes definitely a go to place once more.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Carlisle Station Hotel, Breakfast was really good, staff were brilliant, the room was clean and plenty of space, the Hotel itself needs a bit of TLC, the windows need a lick of paint but overall we enjoyed our visit to Carlisle and will return again.

Lovely hotel excellent staf warm and friendly and go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. I would be put off staying again due to the £48.00 parking fee (extortionate)

This is quite a nice hotel and is obviously undergoing some refurbishment currently. The internal paintwork is really nice and makes it look quite upmarket. Unfortunately the hotel was not offering restaurant service except for breakfast, which was adequate if basic. We had a £100 voucher which we used for this stay and as the hotel was doing a deal the b&b element only used £69, leaving £31 on the voucher which had to be spent at the hotel as they do not give refunds on vouchers. As there were no restaurant services we were very limited as to what we could use the £31 on. So it was relegated to the bar. After going out of the hotel to have dinner we went to the bar and thought we might sit there for a while enjoying a drink or two before retiring for the night. We thought £31 would buy a few drinks and we could enjoy the ambience of the lounge for an hour or so. Ha Ha! a double vodka and e and a double whiskey and lemonade with two packets of crisps use up the whole £31 and as there was not another person in the bar area we decided to just take the drinks up to bed and sip them whilsching something on the television. That, we felt was an expensive drink and in the morning when we checked the bar price list we understood why. The bar prices are very high and we would recommend anyone staying here to buy their tipples in any one of the many establishments around the hotel.

Hotel is in fab location right next to train station and centre of town within walking distance ,Room was clean and toasty warm (it was freezing outside) staf lovely and breakfast was great !! Good selection of hot and cold breakfast food .

It had been many years since I last stayed at the Station Hotel & i was extremely pleased to see that the inside of the old building had been recently refurbished. The bedrooms have also been upgraded with new modern fixtures & furniture. The buffet breakfast was of a high standard with good choices for both hot & cold. Lastly the staff were very friendly & helpful & I'll certainly be booking again alot sooner than I did before.

The deal we got for 2 rooms through Myhotelbreak was great value with breakfast, late checkout and a bottle of wine per room. There was a good selection of wine which you were able to get from the bar at anytime. The rooms were spacious and well-decorated with only the bathrooms needing updated, but there was no issue with them. It was a buffet breakfast and although some items ran low, they were replaced regularly. The hotel is in a great central location. We found all of the staff to be really friendly and helpful.
