Hotel was nice very clean bed comfortable and staff very helpful and pleasant . Only one complaint for price we paid breakfast was not great very little choice food was not hot and not much in choice of bread and fruit and yoghurt .even pastries ware 1 basket of croissants no choice at all .

Hotel is decent beds comfy my grand daughter loved watching the coasters from the window. Breakfast could be better with more choice. Overall was a decent hotel.

We stayed in a family room for two nights having booked a deal including Pleasure Beach tickets. Check in was straightforward and tickets available without delay. Room was clean with a great view of the Pleasure Beach which was great for the wee one. Dinner and breakfast both very good and all staff accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be back. Location is ideal for the tram to the Promenade and walking distance to Pleasure Beach

Great hotel and were given a room upgrade which was much appreciated. Staff always helpful and accommodating. Bar staff always make time for a quick chat while serving you. Great choice at breakfast and restaurant menus have a good choice.

Fantastic hotel with great staff who could not do enough for you and always had a smile. We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely as was the service. Breakfast also was lovely and not too hectic as breakfast usually is. Would I visit again, yes I most certainly would.

Nice hotel, but kitchen unable to cope when busy. Tried to order room service but was told kitchen is too busy to take orders and we were unable to eat that night in either bar or restaurant as they were overbooked and too busy. Then was charged £4 for a glass of lemonade - rip-off, not sure if I would return

Hotel nice, staff excellent, dinner not what was expected as very limited choice. Buffet breakfast on first morning which was good, however no buffet on second morning and had to ask a waitress who could not speak good English if I could order, order was eventually taking by an English spoken waitress,not 4star standard.

Great stay at the Big Blue Hotel, had a deluxe room which had a great layout for family of four with bunks in seperate area (sofa bed next to extra large double bed for bigger families). Location excellent for pleasure beach and just a walk/tram to the piers/tower etc. Breakfast was nice, could do with more variety but had couple of cereals, yoghurt, fruit, small croissants and cooked items, juice and hot drinks machines. We had an issue with room but staff were so understanding and helpful in getting it sorted. Carpets throughout showing age but overall a nice hotel and would stay again.

We stayed at Big Blue Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is beautifully decorated, well kept and our hotel room was spotless. The size of the room was excellent and plenty of space for our family. All staff were extremely helpful. Nice breakfast in the morning, we did have a 9.45am breakfast time which was a little too late for us but all they had available both mornings. Would be helpful if we were able to prebook breakfast time before arrival. The private entrance to the theme park is a great perk as it was right by the side of the hotel and meant less walking for little legs. If coming back to Blackpool I think we would always choose this hotel based on our stay.

Just back from a last minute 2 night break at this hotel. The entrance was lovely with friendly, welcoming staff waiting to meet you. We had a family room with bunk beds for the kids, the room was clean, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries in the bathroom. Loved the idea of individual TV's in the bunk beds and snakes & ladders on the wall. I also bought the activity packs which were in the room. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet, sausages, bacon, eggs, with a selection of cereal, fruit & pastries - something for everyone. We enjoyed our stay that much we wanted to add an extra night but unfortunately the hotel was full. Location for pleasure beach was obviously fab but a bit of a walk to the centre peir but wasn't a problem as the weather was nice so we enjoyed the stroll.

Love The Big Blue, stayed many times. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast very nice, sometimes it could be hotter. Lovely cosy rooms and great view over Pleasure Beach

£18 for parking per night is not on, then trying to charge £5 for a PS3 game per night, should be included for kids it's a PS3 ????

Good room with great view of the park. Decent food and good base for exploring. Only downside is they charge you £18 per night for parking, think that should be part of your price.

Had a lovely couple of days at this hotel. The place was spotless & the staff were so welcoming & helpful. Terrific value for money the only complaint we had was the weather ha. Would defo book again in the summer.

Lovely clean, modern hotel, staff very welcoming and efficient , especially the younger waiting staff at breakfast service. Buffett breakfast plentiful and lots of choice. Room good size, kids loved the private bunk bed area - but please make folk aware that playstation games are not provided, these nee to be rented from reception or bring your own. Would definitely return. Only downside was the onsite parking, expensive at £18 per 24 hours
