Lovely hotel. Really nice staff & got a complimentary upgrade to a river view room. Footbridge opposite raking you directly into Durham. Lots of lovely Riverside walks from the door and very picturesque with the Autumn colours. Beautiful cathedral worth having a look around. Amazing stained glass windows. The hotel itself has a very nice bar area and afternoon tea was part of the deal we booked. This was delicious with finger sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream and a selection of cakes, all really tasty.my husband particularly enjoyed one of the draught ales on offer, Brixton. Massive selection of gins & wines. The breakfast was excellent with a range of hot and cold buffet, fresh & dried fruit, seedings & cereals. Cold hams, cooked meats & cheeses. Whole range of breads, pastries cakes and cookies. If that wasn't enough an Al a carte breakfast menu was also available. We love this hotel and great to book with Myhotelbreak as yoh get a great rate with added extras so will be looking ro book again.

Great stay ….requested an Accessible Room and my friend and myself really happy with the size of the room and the wet room. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great check in and check out times, use of pool and spa plus free drinks voucher. Excellent value for money

Our stay at the Raddison Blu was amazing. The hotel is lovely inside. The reception and bar area was lovely in appearance. Staff, very professional and helpful. Great room, very spacious and upgraded to a riverside view. Bed was so comfortable, i would probably say was the best I have slept in at a hotel. Couldn't fault anything. Breakfast great too.

Lovely stay as always. Food was beautiful. We did select the superior room and our friends booked the standard room. Only difference was view. The room itself didn’t feel superior. It didn’t even have a fridge!

All staff were professional & friendly… The one downside to this lovely Hotel was when we checked into our room, there was NO fridge… Every hotel regardless of how many Stars they have, should have a fridge in the room.. This was unacceptable for us, but after discussing this at Reception, we were offered an alternative room, which was bigger & better, and also had a fridge… We were impressed how quickly this problem was resolved and had a very relaxed stay … We would recommend this Hotel to friends & family, very central for town & sight seeing…

Stayed for 1 night, would highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean well equipped and comfortable. Excellent breakfast selection with hot and cold buffet and also a la carte items to order like eggs Benedict included in the price. Staff were very friendly and polite and the spa facilities and treatments were very good. We will return even though we are only a 15 minute drive from Durham it made for a very nice short break away at an excellent price.

Hotel was clean. Couldn't fault the room although there was no plug in the bath. Staff friendly and helpful. Both evening meal and breakfast were presented well and enjoyable. Gym facilities excellent.

Thoroughly enjoyed our break, Durham is a beautiful city and the hotel was great. Friendly staff, a fabulous choice of quality products at breakfast in lovely surroundings. Enjoyed the Leisure Centre/Pool too.? The breakfast alone was worth the £££s price of our booking.?
