Lovely hotel, friendly and very helpful staff, food was excellent and most important dog friendly. More than happy to recommend and Montrose nice and central if wanting to see tour about North East but avoid staying in Aberdeen or Dundee.

Very satisfied with almost every part of our break..The staff were very friendly and efficient the food was delicious although we thought the helpings were rather generous and could have been smaller. . The only problem we had and it is a very minor one is that we both found the room rather warm. However we would certainly recommend this hotel for a short break.

Highly recommend this hotel. The room had just been refurbished and was big. The main areas are all warm and inviting. Meals were hot and delicious and plenty of it. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice grassy park area outside hotel and it is situated not far from golf courses and beach front or town centre. As weather was nice, we would have appreciated nice outside seating rather than picnic tables though!

Booked in for 1 night but so impressed we stayed for 2. The staff were helpful, pleasant and courteous. We were upgraded to a superior room which was excellent, complete with a jacuzzi, and nice and warm. The evening meals were excellent, as were the breakfasts. All-in-all a great stay and we will most definitely be returning.

Fantastic short break,lovely large room,great food good sized portions (too large sometimes),bar prices reasonable.Very friendly staff always smiling and helpful.A brilliant break at great price .Will certainly be returning to this hotel.Weather was superb as well,what a bonus.

Very comfortable, excellent breakfast and can recommend this hotel again. However check cost as the bill they gave us was the hotel rate not classic britain hotel rate we had been quoted, they did amend this though when we queried it.

Room was lovely as it had recently been refurbished apart from the bathroom floor which had not been laid properly and had big bubbles and paint on it. Was a welcome change to see that they had hair conditioner in the bathroom along with the shampoo as you very rarely get this. Staff were friendly and accomodating. For a bargain of

Excellent hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel. This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and if possible the second stay was even better than the first. Good food,very comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff.

This Hotel is currently in the middle of renovations (wish I had been warned before booking) not acceptable that guests have to walk through corridors with work in progress to get to a room overlooking a back courtyard (terrible view) with the constant noise of ventilation fans that went on all through the night - was offered a room at the front of the Hotel which they said would be very noisy as there was a wedding going on in the Function Room (actually when paying the bill the person in front of me was complaining about the noise and bad language of the wedding guests which went on until the early hours of the morning - she had a front room. It seems no matter which room is allocated there are noise issues - on the plus side the breakfast was nice - would I return to this Hotel? Definitely not.

Beautiful hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, special mention to the gardener for the great gardens where I sat out with my drink reading my book, great weekend away. Brittish Legion across the road behind the bowling club, had a very warm welcome there, 60/70 disco on Saturday night. Nice town.karaoke pub The Anchor bar Fri and Sat night.
