Location is good, food good Hotel itself could be doing with an upgrade especially in the bedrooms and décor throughout the hotel

Under extreme cirstances the staff did everything they could to help us enjoy our stay. From Check-in to checkout they were ALL marvellous. The food was delicious and Covid rules well adhered to. All staff are a credit to the management and should be applauded for the way they sometimes had to work under stressful situations.

View was beautiful, character of hotel was lovely, lobby and bar area very relaxing and warm, bedroom let trip down. Food was lovely. Staff were pleasant. Leisure facilities were good.

Good location for town centre, nice hotel , a bit dated now, but clean , rooms nice , and friendly staff, nice having the spa available included in the cost , ate the bar menu good pub food great value for money, and restaurant food available too, definitely use again

We visited this hotel many years ago, so it was nice to return again. Hotel has had some improvements. We were in a superior room 221 which was very spacious, warm & comfortable with a nice view. ! Bathroom was modern & clean too. We were on a room only basis, had breakfast 1st morning & it was just ok. The hotel is a 10 min walk up a steep hill from the main town area, which we managed fine, but i know a couple of residents got a taxi no bother too. There is a swimming pool, jacuzzi & sauna which we used, & was nice to have a chill out in. Just remember to take towels from your bedroom & toiletries to wash, as nothing there. Very reasonably priced hotel & we would return

great hotel very good food .Hotel was spotless.The evening meals were always hot and plenty of choice.Waiter service .All staff were great.The management should be very proud of his staff.Room 12 was very clean.This is our 3rd visit and we will be back as soon as we can
