my sister and I have just had a lovely couple of chillout days in the Fenwick hotel. The room was lovely and pristine. The staff wrre all incredible- so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother. The food was very good and always piping hot. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were very happy to provide extra pots of tea. The bittle of chilled rose deluvered to our room each day was an added bonus. We will definitely go back! Thanks everyone!

Bathroom very outdated, evening meal was not very good. Chicken burger breading just fell off and not very tasty.

Disappointed with the room, toilet seat loose, hole in wall, drink stains on wall, constant traffic noise from M77. Dinner and breakfast very good, staff friendly.

Great Food -Excellent staff - garbage mattresses (a bin bag of cans would have been more comfortable). My wife and I stayed at this hotel 7th-8th March 2023 as part of a bed and breakfast deal. A Twin Room. I have highlighted our experience below: From our arrival until out departure the staff were absolutely beautiful. Good welcome and service throughout our stay. Our Dinner in the evening was superb in quality and in quantity. It was a bit large for us so we didn't manage to finish it but it was delicious in preparation and flavour. The service was tremendous. Breakfast was OK in comparison. We had poached eggs and toast but unfortunately the bread served as toast was poor quality cheap bread. Oh how I wished it was served with their sour dough bread similar to the meal the night before. However, even with what could only be described as 'cil Breid' at breakfast I would have rated the stay as 4.5 to 5 star. Unfortunately, the mattress on the bed was awful. I have slept on hard standing in a tent that was more comfortable. It was hard, lumpy and noisy. At one point I considered getting up and sleeping in my car and would have if the temperature outside wasn't below zero. We have slept in many hotels across the country and this bedroom experience is the worst by a long shot. The food fantastic, the service superb but I would suggest taking a mattress topper if staying overnight.

Room was extremely in need of a make over especially the bathroom where the bath was held up by bits of wood there was black round the bath and the curtain pole fell on my nose as I went to look out the window. Shame as the staff where lovely and the food was really good. Wouldnt rush back to stay though :(

Nice comfortable relaxing stay, with good dinner and breakfast. Only downside was that we were in room next to motorway, and noise fairly constant from passing traffic. Avoid room 15 if you can

The hotel was clean, warm with very helpful staff. The food was extremely good too. A bit of ‘drama’ with the fire alarm going off after the chef took fajitas out of the oven. It set the smoke detectors off and fire alarm to go off for about five minutes. There was a bit of confusion as to whether we should have evacuated the building or not while the fire alarm was still going.

Stayed here on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal and really enjoyed our stay! There were both up and downs to our stay though. Check in was quick and easy and the downstairs area was lovely! The food at dinner was amazing ? hats off to the chef we both really enjoyed our meal!! We stayed for my cousins birthday and she had forgotten her ID but they have a range of mocktails the boys at the bar were happy to make which was great! Only down sides that we had were the telly I'm our room had little to no signal so would only stay on for 30seconds then cut off, also the kettle was broken and we had to hold the lever down until the kettle fully boiled as I would cut off if you let go. Finally the room had no phone which we thought was strange for health and safety reasons, in case of fire etc. That all being said we had a lovely stay, still enjoyed ourselves and would come back!!
