We thoroughly enjoyed our stay excellent service from friendly staff. Room comfortable and warm on an exceptionally cold night. Dinner and Breakfast lovely. Overall excellent value.

Fantastic overnight stay DBB with 2 other couples staff lovely food great clean x crisp environment apart from the smokers at main entrance who leave butts all over the wall and plant pots needs designated area away from main entrance

Room was clean, tidy and warm. Staff very friendly incredibly helpful as I am on crutches I was asked if I needed assistance with anything. Food was gorgeous and presented hot and in good time no waiting about. Only one little negative was no one checked if we were ok while eating so I had to catch someone’s eye when we needed more drinks and I became a little worried I was calling them too often. But when they came they were very professional and brought drinks no problem. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was totally amazing, had the benefit of staying on a Sunday so managed to eat off the carvery, husband said it was the best he had ever tasted. Would definitely go back for food but unfortunately we would not stay over again as the room we stayed in needed a lot of upgrading and if I am honest could have been cleaner, didn’t report this to the hotel so didn’t give them the chance to rectify this which I am sure based on how helpful the staff were this would have been done.

Staff were very nice on arrival and check in was very quick The room was comfortable and we had a great sleep (apart from when the fire alarm went off) Only disappointment was the condition of the bathroom, floor tiles were all cracked and the bath front was cracked also We had a delicious meal in the restaurant area but when we moved to the bar area it was so cold we kept our jackets on Would have loved to have sat there longer but had to move to our room to get a heat

Rooms were clean but needed repair there was evidence of a roof leak and I’m sure this wasn’t the only room they had left but was used service was acceptable drinks overpriced and not presented well gin should be served in a gin glass if a premium gin is being served set menu for the deal was great value.

Our stay was really good we booked a second night stay staff were excellent and on the second night we got woken by the fire alarm at 7am but it was a false alarm thank god food was OK my husband had tagliatelle for dinner but didn't enjoy it too much garlic but otherwise we enjoyed our stay the room very nice and the bed was really comfortable

The only thing I didn’t like was the sound of the traffic on the motorway I could have asked for a different room but I don’t think it would have made much difference I thought it would be quieter at night so never said anything but it was was still noisy as I’m a light sleeper I didn’t sleep much at all but everything else was lovely clean rooms nice breakfast and dinner was amazing great value for money

Just love this hotel. Staff are so lovely and friendly and nothing is a problem for them . The food in the evening is fabulous with lots of choices and the breakfast is great too.

Staff were totally amazing and could not do enough for us. Hotel was lovely, I was advised that the sister hotel at the Riverside in Irvine was more luxurious as the Fenwick had not been upgraded yet. That said I had no complaints it was clean and tidy with everything we needed in our rooms. The food was fabulous at dinner and at breakfast the next morning. Some people might be annoyed by the A77 next to them but did not bother us. We will definitely be back.

Very poor check-in. Waited over an hour past check-in time then given key in lounge with no info. Had to queue at reception again to find out where room was, breakfast/dinner times etc. Had to zigzag through dirty sheets etc left outside most rooms before we hot yo ours. Really not impressed by hotel side of business. On positive note restaurant lovely as was breakfast. Bar could do with being a bit more organised as dirty glasses always piling up in bar area never seeming to be cleaned for hours. Plenty of staff so no excuse. Great gor food but not an hotel stay im afraid.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Fenwick Hotel. Only negatives were that despite asking for a bath mat to be placed in the room this was not done and no daily housekeeping was done ie topping up tea coffee etc or bed making. Small things but worthy of mentioning I think. Dining room and bar staf exceptionally nice

Had a great wee overnight stay at the Fenwick Hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Front of house bar and restaurant well laid out and decorated. Bedroom could do with a little TLC. But I wouldn’t let this detract from our stay. We were on DB&B break with bottle of wine included. We stayed on a Sunday night which when issued set menu it included the Carvery as an inclusive option. We both opted for the carvery and it was delicious. Great sized portions of the meats and plenty of veggies to choose from. Sleep quality. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Due to location of hotel and dependent on room allocation there is potential for road noise. Didn’t really impact my sleep probably due to the amount of time and hospitality provided in the bar. Would definitely return on the deal we booked on this occasion.

The value for money is great. The evening meal had a good choice and the food was good. However, the breakfast let it down. Food was mediocre at best, dried out food and luke warm. The room was comfortable just needed a lock of paint. Staff in bar very pleasant and knowledgeable about whiskey.

I booked a Twin Room at the Hotel, however, it was two single beds pushed together to form one "giant" bed with a full sized fitted sheet and a full sized duvet to cover both beds together. Therefore, when I book a Twin Room I would expect Two Single beds separate from one another??!! I'm so sorry for making the above comment as the Service and Food and the whole ambience of the hotel were excellent.
