The room was disgusting bathroom was so dirty it gave me the fear I took photos and emailed the hotel direct no reply I also told the receptionist in the morning we were celebrating our Anniversary and only one meal came out had to wait on the other one I was finished by the time my husband got his tails went back the chef cleaning away the carvery was not pleasant when you eating your dinner and Sunday roasts and peas and flying around everywhere actually unbelievable stayed before had a great 2 night visit this time round not so good and won't be back

We went for a overnight stay with dinner and breakfast. The soup at dinner was Oky the bread roll was hard . The steak pie was so dry wasn’t impressed. The breakfast was lovely. Probably a 6 out of 10 .

Nice hotel, food was good, staff were friendly and generally quite efficient. However, the noise due to the hotels close proximity to the M77 was bad. Also, unfortunately, the room needed some TLC and surfaces required dusting

First class as usual,check-in very easy,room spotless and welcoming bit of traffic noise but you can’t help that where hotel is situated,Dinner perfect as usual good priced wine also breakfast again absolutely no complaints will definitely go again.?

Please consider placing a rubbish bin and soap holder in the bathroom and a tumbler for water etc. somewhere in the room.

Lovely hotel and very nice food served by lively staff wish it had been pet friendly but if it is in the future we would return although the hotel is on a very busy road it didn't bother us too much

Had a fabulous stay and a great deal with DB&B and bottle of wine. The room was large and clean and any noise from the main road was not a problem for us (Room 12) The staff were really helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble (Christine in reception & Tracy in the dinning room) after dinner we had a few drink in the bar area which was very reasonable priced. The breakfast was buffet style and had everything to start your day ahead. Would not hesitate to return for this £69 deal !

Service and food good . Lovely big room , however as weather was very warm , we had to have window open .. This meant the noise from the traffic was horrendous . Overall it was very good value for money but wouldn’t stay again purely because of the proximity to the road .

Lovely hotel with very classy decor, staff are fantastic & a credit to this hotel as nothing at all was a bother, food well what can I say “ sublime” so thank you to the chefs, nice touch is the wheelchair lift from reception up to the restaurant ?Well done everyone will def book again & have already recommended to family & friends ?

A bit noisy next to motorway, evening meal good, breakfast not very warm, room fine got upgraded to bridal suite as bulb in wasn't working

Nice stay,but could not believe the noise from the road,and the breakfast was a bit sp,no porridge and no yogurt,evening meal was lovely.
