Dinner and breakfast were delicious with this DB&B deal however, bedroom and especially the bathroom were pretty tired and needed attention.

This was our second visit. We had a fantastic time at The Fenwick Hotel for a pre-birthday celebration for me. The atmosphere, room, staff and food were all excellent we will definitely return and cannot recommend highly enough 10 out 10.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. 2 nights bed & breakfast with a bottle of wine on arrival and a two course evening meal on the first night. The food was fantastic and the kept a well stocked bar. The breakfast had a wide selection of the usual starters but the main breakfast was waitress service which ensured it was piping hot. The rooms were clean and tidy Staff were friendly & helpful nothing was too much bother,we would stay here again

The rooms were a bit dated and could be doing with an upgrade. The service was a bit slow for dinner, bar and breakfast service. Dinner wasn’t the greatest on the Sunday night I had steak pie and the steak was so chewy and overcooked. My partner had the chicken and this was very over cooked aswell which left us having to go without dinner.

Rooms could do with updating, carpet stained and marks on the walls. Extractor fan in bathroom needed cleaned and tiles marked. Lamp shades needed a good clean. Staff were efficient and friendly. Food was really good apart from buffet breakfast on our last morning.

Great value overnight stay for food and drink. The room was a let down!! The dark grey full length curtains were closed when we walked in, I opened them to find 4 spiders and their webs along the top of the curtain pole, the window frame was filthy and black and the glass was also filthy. The bathroom door was very dirty, looked as if it’s never been cleaned…covid is still here!! I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great deal DB&B plus a bottle of wine on arrival, we did have to ask twice for the wine though. Room was very basic, cobwebs on light fittings & extractor fan in bathroom. No hairdryer in room.

Superb value, dinner was delicious and two course menu included with price was varied and tempting. tails was lovely, breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Service and check-in was quick warm and friendly. Room was a little tired, we were clearly in an old adjoining room, which never sits well. Always worry about what noise we are making, especially when I can hear them stir a coffee cup ? some damage to the walls etc which isn't pleasant. Bed was comfy and slept well. Poor speed of service during meals very understaffed, the room was clean and comfortable but due to road noise has a very poor sleep all in all I won't be returning due to these factors

we had a lovely stay, lovely food and staff. noisy traffic overnight as next to main glasgow road but we knew that before we went. check in took 20 mins, seems a slow process, but couldn’t fault what we were offered as it was great value for money.

The hotel looks lovely from the outside, when we arrived there was no staff at the reception desk we were standing around for a while. When the staff came to the desk she never explained the booking and told us to book breakfast if you wish

Just had an absolutely Amazing Weekend, at The Fenwick Hotel. Second visit, and it did not disappoint. Room, Food, Staff, and Service, all excellent. Compliments to the Chef. Food was delicious, particularly enjoyed the puff pastry mushroom starter, which was luscious, and, as always, the fish and chips, which being one of my favourites, was top class. All Staff very attentive, hotel very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable, I have had the pleasure to sleep in. Pillows were amazing, and the crisp cotton sheets and pillowcases, were just a dream. From the moment we arrived, and were greeted by Reception Staff, we felt welcomed. Bar prices, for a Hotel, were very reasonable, and the bar areas are very clean and comfortable. I can highly recommend The Fenwick Hotel, and cannot wait for my next visit.
