Brilliant from start to finish! The room was great, we were able to check in over an hour early. All the staff were friendly and obliging and the facilities were fantastic. The food was excellent!

Really enjoyable, lovely and clean hotel with friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant where we sat in the conservatory. Bedroom overlooking the canal was lovely. The food in the evening was over-cooked which was my only complaint. The haddock with prawns would have been beautiful, if not over-cooked - my leek was actually burned to a crisp. The same with my husband's liver the previous evening.

Low bedroom score as the shower in the bathroom had no power or heat. This was reported on the first day but despite maintenance looking at it there was no change for the rest of the stay. The hotel could also benefit from a direct access to the leisure centre from the hotel instead of having to go outside to enter the centre. Besides this we did enjoy the stay.

Excellent value in a very convenient setting for Skipton/Yorkshire Dales. Nice to be beside the canal, very picturesque. Some Reception staff may need to speak more quietly on phone/to guests: although they are friendly, during a ten minute sit in the very pleasant reception area we couldn't avoid learning that the occupant of 509 was ill needing a doctor, and a tribunal was taking place at the hotel.

what a fabulous hotel staff are wonderful.Food in the restaurant was first class. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub will return very soon .

Our room had a lovely view over the canel, although the room temperature was on the hot side. Good food but a little more variety especially veggie would have been nice.The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Needs a lick of paint here and there but on the whole a good stay.

1of the rooms not ready until after 3.30 2 separate people on reception need to climb down of their high horse. The restaurant staff were fantastic. The sealant on the bedro window mouldy and there was a drain smell from the sink plug area.

Arrived receptionist not very friendly but on the other hand when we left the receptionist was very friendly - i had a knickbocker glory for my dessert and found a orange pip in it not very pleasant - rooms to hot, had to switch heating iff and open window

we have just returned from the Rendezvous Hotel at Skipton after staying on an extra night. We could not fault this hotel in any way. The evening meals were exceptionally good and all the staff were pleasant and efficient.
