Good stay..food could be a lot better..I had vegetable curry which just seemed like courgettes with tomatoes no cauliflower or broccoli which would've expected so pretty bland..my wife steak was ok but with fries where cky chip would've made the presentation so much better..ate out on 2nd night Rooms spacious and had decent view from 259 of pier etc..personally I think all hotels should have king size bed these days which this one doesn't but wouldn't put me off returning.spa good tho just used treadmill..would return as overall good hotel

Lovely staff but awful hotel !!! Cheap rooms with thin walls , every step outside room was creeky floorboards, lots of children running down the corridor,could hear the person in the room above having s shower in the morning !!!! Evening meal was awful , food was cheap and nasty ! Breakfast was good the next morning and once again staff were lovely, but would not want to stay here again.

A very disappointing stay. The front of house staff and all the staff were very good and also very apologetic about the conditions of the rooms. In fact when we asked for a move when we saw our room the staff knew instantly which rooms we were in. I have never stayed in a hotel with a Kitchen worktop as a headboard for the bed and also the vanity unit was built out of the same worktops. The plumbing in the bathroom was noisy and the toilet actually bubbled when i presume other rooms were using there facil. There were no other rooms available on the Friday night so we put up with it. They managed to find us another room for the Saay night but this also had the same worktops as a headboard. There was also a Kitchen extractor fan directly below the window which ran continually all night. How the Hotel got a 3 star rating is beyond me. Obviously they dont show the rooms towards the back of the hotel. Very disappointing. Avoid unless you can guarantee an updated room.

Great Hotel, Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. All you can eat breakfast was a great way to start the day and evening meal was good value with options if you want to pay a little more for a steak. DB&B two night stay at this hotel was a good choice. Local real ale bars and pubs within 5 min walking distance and Lytham a short cab ride with more great pubs and restaurants for lunch.

Sadly the room and overal quality of the hotel let itself down! The room had a strong ordour of rotting wood and stagnener which someone had left the window wide open to try and hide. The panel of the bath was damaged, the overflow valve and plug control hanging off the side of the bath. The double bed incredably uncomfortable. The food quality at dinner was average to poor. Breakfast was of a good standard but cleared away without any warning bang on the stroke of 10am leaving us with no food and having to ask for butter, toast etc. When I mentioned my concerns at reception I was told the housekeeper would be informed! Was I offered any help? Sadly no. WIll I be going back? Sadly NO!

The food was good rooms clean and comfortable But nowhere to hang wet coats. a couple of coat hooks would help, The dining room was pretty draughty due to high winds and the hotel pretty cold, Service in the dining room was fast but don't be late for breakfast as they clear everything bang on closing time. A nice touch was a present from Santa for everyone at the evening meal. The pool was quite warm but they don't seem to dry the changing room floors that were soaking. Great location but we were disappointed they had no entertainment at night in the bar as there is usually a singer on.

Hotel was nice. I did feel that because we booked through your site, that we were a bit out of it. Dinner menu was very limited, with only two choices of main courses. On the second night we booked our dinners for 8 o'clock and when we went down there was no booking for us, the waitress had to go kitchen to check if they could still serve food. When they did bring it to us, we got the impression that it was a bother for them, not our fault! I know we didn't pay full hotel price,but I think we still deserve same service as full paying guests. A bit disappointed.

Very enjoyable break for two nights to visit Blackpool illuminations. Good location for frequent bus service into town and local facilities. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the hotel, rapid service and any minor complaints dealt with quickly and professional dealt with.

This was a very nice hotel. I was happy with the breakfast but the evening meals were very limited and not much choose so we ate the first night but ate out the second so we ended up sending more money which I wasn't happy about. The pool was very nice and our room was nice too. I enjoyed my stay and would come again but the food was bit of a let down.
