Had a cracking wee overnight at this cosy and friendly hotel. Very friendly staff. Comfortable room that was completely spotless. The deal we had gave us £20pp evening meal allowance. We ate in the Bar and the steaks we had were amazing and great value for money. Breakfast was great too. If you are looking for a great hotel offering great food at an amazing price then The Winnock is for you

Lovely quaint hotel and food was good too. The bar is nice and cosy and staff were great. Room was spacious, clean and above all else very quiet so a good night's sleep!

Had a great night. Room was immaculately clean and big, even had a sofa. Bath towels were so fluffy and big. We ate in the bar and food was excellent. Great choice. Cooked breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful and the room was warm, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our evening meal and generous buffet and cooked breakfast. Very good value break.

We had a lovely overnight stay, the room was very comfortable and food was really good. Lots of staff who were very friendly and doing a great job. Highly recommend and we will certainly return.

Very nice dinner, bed and breakfast stay, our room was clean and very comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was good, traditional Scottish food, we really enjoyed the breakfast. It was a young team of staff, all very polite, good service.

Lovely overnight stay with dinner included. Very pleasant place to stay, flower baskets were beautiful. Food was plain but very good and hot! Staff were friendly. Not great soundproofing in the room but I suppose that’s unavoidable in such an old building. Would definitely go back.

Lovely stay on DB&B deal with free glass of wine with dinner and late checkout Room ideal for a one night stays, bed comfortable , bathroom clean and fresh ( one small nibble was the stopper in sink wouldn’t stay down so water was running all time we were washing ) Ate in the Ptarmigan Bar as that menu suited us better than the set menu in resteraunt With a £22 pp allowance we easily managedv2 courses Would def stay again

Myself and husband had a lovely stay at the winnlock. Drink prices were very reasonable and food excellent, the majority of the staff are very young but were very aattentive and cheerful

Great place to stay, stayed on the next night as well. Couldn’t fault anything. Old hotel with character, warmth and a feeling of genuine welcome from all. A good Scottish hotel, would recommend it without hesitation.

Lovely overnight stay. Received an upgrade and room was lovely and spacious and clean. Unfortunately, could hear the person above who appeared to be walking the floor at all hours. Evening meal was delicious and you have a choice of eating in the main dining room or in the bar which has a different menu. The steak pie was great and not just a plate of stew with a very flaky square of pastry on top. Good choice at breakfast. They also have a nice beer garden and it was pleasant sitting in the afternoon sun. Would definitely return.

Had a lovely break at the winnock. Rooms are basic but very clean and have everything you need. Food in restaurant and bar is great value for money. Drinks are very reasonable for a hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back
