Had great couple of nights here ..had hoped for room with bath or bacony.. but for what we paid it was a great room ..both pleasant and clean , staff were very good as was the good and choice of food ..will be back

Great hotel for the money, evening meals were lovely. Room service breakfast could have been warmer and better presented. Staff very nice & helpful. Would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at the Winnock,hotel, food was great, our complements to the chef, room very nice and clean and I'm sure we didn't have the best room in the house , but for the offer we were pleased it was clean and comfortable.

If your room is at the back you have all the delivery and bus noise from 6am for several hours. Rooms very clean Some staff are nice and some are absolutely horrible. We could not believe how they treat people or speak to them. Extremely poor customer service. Menus dirty in the restaurant, tables sticky. Every meal has something either added or missing. Staff are nice but there is not enough of them to be able to cope. Evening meal good, breakfast was dried out like a reheated meal. Stick to cold stuff or eggs. Good size hotel near Loch Lomond should be a great place, unfortunately rude staff in charge let it down. They gave false information about entertainment being on before booking. After visiting a few times unfortunately we will never go back.

Very comfortable hotel in a nice location. We would have liked a biscuit with the coffee and tea in the room. Also would have liked a small bar of soap in addition to the soap solution. A soap solution is not always ideal. The one evening meal we had was really good however on the second morning the breakfast was a chaotic affair with too many guests turning up for breakfast at the same time with no ordered way of dealing with us all. The low service score relates to the breakfast experience only! However we would certainly would stay at this hotel again.

Nice hotel , spacious clean rooms , evening food excellent. Only critisism was the poorly cooked breakfast in the morning. Good choice of standard fayre , but on both mornings the eggs and bacon were overcooked. Overall though , hotel and staff were lovely and I would book again

Fantastic value for money ! Room was spotless and shower room looked brand new. Staff were all very nice and helpful, however what really stood out was the food ! Dinners were great (especially the home made pies which I wouldn't normally eat) and the breakfast was cooked to order with the finest produce, no mass produced luke warm buffets. Oh and the bar was well stocked and reasonably priced ! Excellent all round.

Room at ground level overlooking the bus parking area not as good as first floor but otherwise an excellent stay. Both service and food were excellent. We like the village location and it is within easy reach of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

Room a little on the small side and some traffic noise as right by the roadside, also unable to turn off heated towel rail and no hot shower available at busy times but otherwise fine. Food very good and staff pleasant and helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The hotel bedroom was lovely & very modern, much nicer than I expecxted with large bed and walk in shower. The staff were all very nice and the dinnewr was very tasty with a nice choice.

Because there was a other party on my 20 guests where classed as 2nd citizens and treated badly. Had to wait over 45 mins for service also asked to put back my dinner for a hour or take it a hour early. Also I hate when promises are not delivered
