fantastic value, service excellent, no overpriced drinks in spite of cheap break with excellent food and company. Entertainment was quite good but night was made by Anne and Jim (Castle Douglas) and Chris and Dave (Tullibody) what a great weekend was made feel welcome by all.

Hotel in need of upgrade. Some of the menu choice was better than others. But would like to go back when refurbished.

Had a great 2 night stay, unfortunately there was only another couple there on the first night, but really glad they were there. Really cold when we arrived no heating on at this very large hotel. At our evening meal which was very nice, they put on a small fan heater which eventually blew up. Breakfast for the 4 of us was great had a very good selection. More guests booked in for the 60's/70's night, the meal was a bit of a disaster - the roast beef was so tough you could'nt cut it with your knife and certainly could'nt chew and swallow it. Think having 40 more guests was too much for the staff. But we made the most of it and the band that played were fantastic. Breakfast next day was buffet style nothing like the day before but was enjoyable.
