Really enjoyable stay in a hotel with character. The staff were excellent particularly Brian and the young lass in the restaurant at night. Comfortable room and overall excellent value for money.

We had a great short break at this hotel. The room was spacious and well appointed and had an open outlook to the rear of the hotel over the extensive gardens. The food and the staff were excellent and we will definitely book again with the hotel.

We booked an overnight package featuring the Twin Bees Bee Gees Tribute show. The Hotel accommodation, friendliness of the staff and quality of service and food were all excellent. The show was far better than we expected as the Twin Bees gave an authentic rendition of Bee Gees songs and gave their audience a stand up comedy show as well. They were real characters and have a close link to the Bee Gees as can be seen on their Web site. Overall, a welcome break and enjoyable experience.

Lovely room with view, I found the mattress a bit too firm and the bath plug didn't fit properly. The hotel was cosy and the dinner was very good but the breakfast was poor. The lady who served was very friendly but the toast was burnt, the poached eggs were overcooked and the coffee was horrible. Having said that I would go back again any time and the offer was too good to be true.

Had a lovely overnight stay with dinner ,breakfast and a bottle of wine ,excellent value. Food was excellent,the room was lovely and overlooked the huge garden ..Staff could not have been nicer.Hope this offer comes up again!!!

This was our first break using myhotelbreak.com and so impressed. Tinto Hotel resides in a lovely valley and is very easy to find. If you put the number 44 Biggar Road into the satnav I think it'll take you there. Hotel was quiet but the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were great and the views brilliant. Food was lovely too and we spent our days exploring Biggar, just a couple of minutes down the road by car.

Had a very pleasant overnight stay for a tribute night.very clean and lovely hotel with spacious rooms. The food was really nice and the bar wasn't overpriced at all. The staff are very pleasant and work really hard. Gorgeous scenery and gardens. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel staff were helpful, polite and friendly. The room was rather big, two beds together to form a massive double, dressing table, mirror, two comfy chairs and two bedside cabinets and still loads of room. Maybe some could be used for the bathroom. The bath panel was up against the toilet, the bathroom suite was old but clean. Basics in the bathroom for shampoo and shower gel but really you do not need anything else. The main areas in the hotel are a wee bit dated but comfortable, clean and usable. No wee dainty chairs here, curl up with a good book on a comfy couch or sit talking to new friends. The food was good, plentiful and the dining staff were willing to meet the needs of their guests. The bar was a bit slow but this gave more time to meet new people. All in all a good, comfortable place to unwind.

Been to Tinto several times for there tribute nights .always excellent value for money. Will certainly be returning.We would however take the two night option if some music/karaoke/ disco was available on Friday night as we have tavelled a distance and would prefer to remain in hotel and not have to travel elsewhere.
