fire alarms went off both nights of our stay,otherwise ok.

The alarm is of course in place for the safety of our guests and staff. Once the alarm has sounded it is imperative that the team here investigates the cause of the alarm to determine any risks. excellent hotel. Friendly staff and room very spacious and exceptionally clean. The only fault was the buffet breakfast. The food was not hot and in particular te scrambled eggs. It was cold. The dinner was excellent with an good choice.

Bedrooms, cleanliness and comfort - excellent. Unfortunately, the food & restaurant service badly let the hotel down. First dinner service, we had to ask to order drinks after waiting to be noticed, we had 5 different table servers, and the main course was served barely warm with lumpy mash, as we waited so long to be served, and no-one seemed to be bothered, we did not send the food back, as we didn't want to wait forever for a replacement meal, it was not a pleasant experience. At Breakfast, I had to ask for my used bowl/plates to be removed from the table - this included, cereal, fruit juice glass, toast plate & knife and full breakfast plate, I was on my second cup of coffee and was annoyed at looking at dirty dishes!! We found the breakfasts of poor quality, mostly warm, and either overcooked or undercooked (fried eggs particularly bad). The restaurant staff seemed to be 'going through the motions' rather than serving you as customers. We found the room cleaning staff to be very pleasant and polite - maybe the restaurant staff need to learn from them ???

we have stayed at this hotel previously and have always enjoyed our stay.the only disappointment as always is the buffet breakfast which we do not enjoy,but otherwise very good hotel

Service for dinner on 14th April left a lot to be desired. There was a shortage of staff and those that were there were inexperianced, although they tried they were not well supervised. Good position.

I booked a twin room but on arrival was given a double room, however this was changed to a twin room very quickly.

We had a lovely stay with you.The beds were comfortable and the disabled bathroom was so easy to move around in. I felt very safe. the staff were very friendly and helpful. Compliments to the Chef.We will definately be returning. Thank you.

hotel spotless,staff very pleasant, nice not have been stopping in tired hotel such as Shearings, i accept they are cheap , but if this is typcal Ramada standard then i will use them again
