My wife and myself stayed for 2nights with dinner and breakfast included.From arrival and throughout stay all staff were excellent.The room was spotless and bed was very comfortable.Would recommend hotel to family and friends and will definitely book another break.

Visited the Hetland Hotel for the 4th time. Great stay, The food was top notch couldn’t find fault with anything. The room was lovely, clean and tidy, bathroom great especially the shower. Nice touch alongside the tea and coffee tray was a couple of Border Biscuits. We will be returning for another stay around May/June. Also the service in the bar was very good.

We had a fantastic time, the staff were so polite, friendly, and willing to help. The building looked amazing on the drive up to the car park, and it just got better, we had a lovely room, bar was comfortable and the prices were good, the room we had was lovely, food was very good with the staff ensuring you didn't have to wait too long. Lovely hotel with a very impressive view on arrival . A first class room but the room was cold on arrival which was a bit off putting for a cold Nov I would have expected housekeeping would have checked this.We had an excellent meal in the restaurant but they had the wrong tine for our booking which was easily my corrected , we also and a very good breakfast.

Hotel was lovely, rooms were fabulous. We were met at Reception by Cyprian who was very friendly and informative Had a good sleep in a very quiet room Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced Food in the restaurant was lovely, just the fried? bread that was served with the prawn tail was too greasy. The fish pie was delicious, presentation was superb, and the waitresses were very friendly. Breakfast next morning was tasty, good choice and again waitresses were very accommodating. My daughter in law wasn't feeling too great and they allowed my Son to take some breakfast to her room. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again

Perfect for a child free getaway! The room was exactly how it was in the pictures. Very spacious, modern and spotless. We couldn’t fault it. The only one downfall was the tv. There was no smart tv, no access to Netflix and no access to cast an Apple phone to tv which was a little disappointing but that was minor and absolutely would not put us off revisiting this hotel! The food was 11/10! We absolutely LOVED the fact we could upgrade from the a la carte at an extra cost, which we did and had prawns, steak and duck. The breakfast was great in the morning too and the service at both sittings were spot on. Very professional and friendly. The restaurant was also immaculate. We also had a bottle of red wine along with dinner and some tails and pints in the bar area which was lovely. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to both family and friends!

Excellent stay, beautiful room. Helpful staff, Good food. The only down side of our stay wasn’t major, but I would like to give this feedback. On 3 separate occasions my food and coffee weren’t hot. It didn’t spoil our stay though.

Wow where to start…one of the best stays we have ever had. Service, staff, food was unbelievable and the room was just perfect. We stayed in the Solway suite and had 2 course dinner. We ordered the duck and it was 10/10! Hardly ever do you get every box ticked but the beautiful peaceful setting, huge superking four poster bed (so comfy) jacuzzi bath, gorgeously decorated and spacious suite and very attentive happy staff definitely warrants a 5 star review. We wanted for nothing not forgetting the room was sound proofed and we couldn’t even hear the wedding happening. A fabulous experience which has made me want to book again and at their other hotels. Brilliant well done.

Another lovely stay at Hetland Hall hotel. When checking in, I mentioned the complimentary upgrade through bookings on this site, and the receptionist said that she would be able to do this for us. We had a lovely quiet room with a comfy bed and a fabulous shower. However, the room layout was strange, with the television facing away from the bed and the view from the window was a wall. Breakfasts and dinners were both delicious and all staff were attentive and friendly. We can’t wait to come back to this lovely hotel.

As a retired hotelier, I am pleased to say that there is little I can say about Hetland that is not complimentary!! From a brilliant, well designed room to a most attractive dining room, all accompanied by first class staff and excellent cooking, our stay was well worth every penny. Thank you so much for our stay, we will be back!!

We had an excellent 3 night stay at the Hetland Hall Hotel, This was the first time we had stayed at Hetland Hall and overall experience was good, all staff were friendly and helpful and the food both in the evening and breakfast was very good with plenty of choices available. The Hotel is located in large well kept surroundings. We would certainly recommend this hotel.
