Booked this as a surprise over night for my partners birthday. The hotel was beautiful and the spa nice and relaxing. The meal was great for a set menu there was a lot of choice. All the staff through out the hotel were friendly and super attentive. Totally recommend this!

Had an excellent stay here, there was a wedding on so didn’t get to have dinner in the restaurant and it meant service was quite slow but we still had a good time. The food at breakfast was great, couldn’t fault it.

We up graded to a superior king room. We were very disappointed. The room was very small & it had a tiny window which allowed for very little natural light. The room was dull. Very poorly light. There was no center light. Not worth the extra we paid. Very disappointing.

Have stayed in many Hilton hotels and would say this is the poorest one to date. Just found this hotel was not the usual standard of Hiltons. Would rate this a 3 star as although it had a million pound refit 5 years ago, the building and conservatory restaurant very tired looking, due to the buildings age. Staff were all friendly and food reasonable but hotel appearance lets it down.

Loved the welcome hot chocolate & walnut cookies given to us in reception. Room 114, I can highly recommend it was a Fresh well decorated large room with King size bed, sofa, chair and all the usual requirements, toiletries, tea/coffee, dressing gown, Large fluffy towels, Bath and a very high powered shower. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and of course the Hilton breakfast, never lets you down. The hotel is around a 5minute drive from the Dundee attractions and shops, so close enough without being in the Biz. Lastly staff very friendly warm and welcoming eager to please well done all. Really beautiful and spotlessly clean hotel. The staff were very professional and welcoming. Dinner was delicious. The only let down was the breakfast. The potato scones were very rubbery and the sausages weren’t very nice. The leisure facilities were also very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to a return visit.

Hi there -- My husband Eddie and myself have just come back from an extremely enjoyable break to Dundee.Booking late, we were not disappointed with the Hotel - the Doubletree by Hilton, Dundee.The location was superb only 5 mins. drive from the city centre and great for travelling proximity to motorways etc.the hotel itself was not too big, giving a very good welcome.Breakfast was excellent.Dinner menu was a little limited but of good quality. Restaurant staff are to be commended ! We will definitely return there.

Room was ok ? Ordered 2 Hendricks gin & tonic for my friends from the bar which were served in heavy thick glasses you would get in a night club, no cuber served with them When I asked if we could have proper gin glasses the reply was “We only have 2!! Same happened again in the Friday night but this time I asked for cuber & was told “We don’t have any” This is a 4* hotel with a busy restaurant & they don’t have cuber in the kitchen? I then overheard another Barman say to the barman who served us that he had a cuber and waited patiently for him to come or ask me to come get some But he completely ignored that I had requested it and I had to go ask for the cuber ? He then unceremoniously sliced 5 thick slices & put it in my cky glass!!!! We then went to a table to order food The table was sticky & dirty!! We had to ask if he could please clean it before we ate!! Breakfast was really nice in Friday ? A most pleasant cheery mature lady assisted us in where everything was. On Saturday it was a bit disappointing ? I asked for 2 poached eggs and they were so hard you could play cricket with them. I think the bar staff could benefit in some training regards service.

Hotel seemed a little 'tired'. Bedroom was nice but lots of marks and scratches etc through wear and tear. Public areas were the same including holes and rips in the sofas in the bar. There was a horrible smell in the pool on the day that we used it. The restaurant was nice and food was really good.

Have stayed at hotel many times and always enjoy our time there. The staff make you so welcome from reception to bar staff and breakfast staff cannot fault any of them. Rooms are immaculate. Would recommend this hotel.

Hotel was nice, staff were friendly. We didnt receive our bottle of wine in the room. There were lots of little things that were not great which on their own not a big deal but when you add them up did put us off coming back.

A fantastic stay - in fact we booked again before we had even left the hotel! The staff were excellent, the upgraded room really comfortable and well appointed, and the food was good quality.

Booked a king deluxe room dinner bed breakfast for £150 On arrival was givin a standard room (still a lovely room just not what I booked) and was still charged £150 so I went straight back down to reception where one of the managers kindly sorted this and gave me a couple of drinks vouchers as the booking sent to them from MyHotelBreak did not state the room as my booking confirmation did, King deluxe room is lovely just what I had booked for our anniversary went for dinner about 8 decided to sit in the bar rather than the restaurant staff where all lovely very friendly lovey meal and as soon as they discovered it was our anniversary they gave us an other couple of complementary drinks, had a late check out and breakfast was brought up to the room would go back, there was also a wedding on in the hotel (we only knew as we seen the cake)

Lovely hotel, great stay. Just disappointed by the food. Arrabiata is a y sauce. Not just a basic tomato sauce and linguine. Could have used the £22.50 towards a la carte which might have been better.
