Hotel room was really nice, food was amazing, receptionist was very helpful and waitress Jamie-lee was really lovely and great service provided.

All staff were extremely pleasant and friendly without being "in your face". Hotel in lovely location with nice gardens in which to sit. rooms were clean but a bit dark as we looked out on to a wall. Breakfast excellent choice of both hot and cold and service here first class. Would certainly go back

First rooms we were given were less than impressive, small and in need of a clean and refurb. However reception was very accommodating and upgraded our rooms which were a big improvement on the first ones. Ate in restaurant on first night, food and service were excellent. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly helpful and couldn't do enough for us

Firstly the staff were exellent , especially the 2 older but lovely ladies dealing with the breakfasts which was also great 10/10, we used the pool, steam room,sauna but they were not of the standard I would have expected , also the bed was really uncomfortable you could get seasick in it ! Lol for a hotel with the Hilton name we were quite dissapointed , until they get premier inn quality beds and improve the leisure side I'm afraid in wont see us again

Stayed two nights at the Doubletree, room was spacious and spotlessly clean, had dinner one evening in hotel, service and food was very good. Had two afternoon's in the pool which was also spotless but a bit on the small side. Staff at breakfast on both morning's where very friendly and efficient and the buffet breakfast very good.

We had a really enjoyable stay and the hotel itself was in a brilliant location for exploring both Dundee and the surrounding area. We could not fault the staff or the quality of service we received both on checking in and in the restaurant. The food was very good. Unfortunately my birthday weekend treat away with our close friends was sadly spoilt as when we went to check out, someone had n our drivers side glass mirror from our car in the hotel car park making it very dangerous for us to drive back home. My husband did go back into the hotel reception to report the incident but no-one from the hotel contacted us afterwards. This would definitely prevent me from returning there.

Stayed here one night with family, service was first class with all staff attentive and caring towards needs of the family. Room was nice and spacious with plenty room for the kids. Spa was nice and well maintained. Pool clean and the kids loved a wee swim. Wouldn't hesitate to book another night here if staying in Dundee again. Breakfast the next morning was lovely with plenty of choice for the whole family, full cooked Scottish brekky or cereal and fruit salad was on offer. Location of hotel is excellent with it being on an arterial route in and out of Dundee. Overall a fantastic stay at the doubletree 5*

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. We did have a few issues with the room and ended up moving rooms twice but the way the hotel managed our problems was really good. Orshi on reception was immensely helpful and handled the situation with a great deal of tact and good humour. In addition, a reduction in price was offered without us even needing to request it - that was much appreciated. Anne running the breakfast shift deserves a shout out as she does a fantastic job. We would certainly stay there again.

Great hotel bit too far from the city though. Great food. Rooms serviced well. Receptionist told us hotel would pay for a taxi due to the bus not running but had to pay for the taxi ourselves. Took almost 15 mins to check out due to only one receptionist though. All in all bit disappointing won't be back.

great value break. lovely hotel, all staff we had dealings with were very helpful and friendly although a special mention for amy on reception, what a genuine assest this young lady is to the hotel. will certainly book this hotel again and would recommend it highly

Had a great stay here. Room was great and loved the bath and shower. We were on a D B & B offer. My main course wasn’t great but I did get offered an alternative. Breakfast was really good with a good variety.

Room was king deluxe but was next to a room that seemed to have machinery going all the time. Worse the room was directly above 2 large fans which went on intermittently day and night Apart this the room fine. The service in the restaurant was terrible. on night one we had to wait an hour between starter and main course.Had to ask if we had been forgotten about. On night two we did not have a starter but had to wait 45 minutes between ordering being served our main course. On the plus side all the staff were most efficient, courteous and friendly.

Good value DB&B break. Nice quiet room,clean & comfortable. Enjoyed dinner on both evenings, from set menu. Good breakfast buffet & a lovely cheery local lady as a waitress!

Enjoyed our weekend at Doubletree by Hilton. Staff were ALL very helpful and friendly. We didn't have even one interaction that wasn't professional, positive and helpful, and Reception, Dining Room and Bar Staff couldn't have been nicer. If I could pass one comment, perhaps the bedrooms could be a little better lit. The room was large and very nicely decorated and fitted, but the lighting isn't enough to make the room bright in a dull winters day in Scotland. Many thanks.

booking with classicbritain does not allow you dinner of main hotel menu.the menu with classicbritain booking is short on choice. also portion size. eg.soup bowls smaller.. having said all that we will return.

Lovely hotel very clean food great rooms lovely but the staff made my stay great very friendly and helpful best staff yet in any hotel that I have stayed in. Will go back and would recommend it to anyone. Glad I pick it.
