Always a good place to go. Slightly disappointment with the dining on both nights. 1st night waited along time for main course and others who’d arrived after us had been served. 2nd night the Carbonara was dry. Staff are good, will definitely return next year when the leisure facilities are ready.

It was a lovely hotel and we had an amazing meal for our anniversary there.The staff were really helpful and we got a surprise happy anniversary chocolate and strawberry desert.Great value and would definitely go again.

Room nicely decorated and very clean. Evening meal was ok but three menu choices not available. Breakfast very poor. Food dried out and not refreshed despite 30 minutes of service left.

Hotel was very warm staff very welcoming and friendly Beds were so comfortable slept really well A very quiet peaceful hotel Food was served on hot plates came nice and hot delicious full of flavour Just one negative here they could do with place mats on the tables as the plates tend to move around too much when cutting up meat etc Swimming pool was lovely and warm changing rooms tare quite small no private area to change which could do wit highly recommend this hotel will definitely be back Thank you for a wonderful stay

There was a group of 6 of us and we had a really lovely stay, we had rooms next to each other as requested. Good rooms but a little too much furniture in ours. The staff are amazing, very accommodating and cannot do enough for you. There was a couple of blips in the restaurant but nothing that would stop me returning Really lovely place

Excellent stay ! Bed breakfast and bottle of wine in room. Staf so friendly. Check in smooth and welcoming. Room was spacious , clean and comfortable. Comfy beds , large TV, coffee machine. Breakfast was great. Good choice of continental and cooked. Highly recommend and we will return.

Lovely relaxing break away at this hotel. We can't fault anything. The room was decorated beautifully and the bed was really comfortable and bottle of wine was appreciated. The food was delicious in the prego restaurant we ate there both nights. The Antler bar was quiet when we were there but was mid week and January. We will definitely return here and recommend. The staff were all polite and friendly.

Had another fantastic stay at this hotel, can’t fault a single thing . Rooms very clean , staff very happy and helpful , bar is spot on with a great variety of drinks and the restaurant serves fantastic food . We will be back again soon .

I have stayed here many times over the years. We recieved a warm welcome and the reception looked lovely and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Lovely room but would have preferred to be asked if we were bothered about staying in a room which had also had a dog staying as I have alot oergies and even though it was very clean I still had it in the back of my mind what if. We ate in Praggo the sauce on the prawn tail was very watery and no real taste but the steak afterwards was first class and perfectly cooked to our liking ? Lovely breakfast the following day hubby getting a perfectly presented gluten free full English. I used the swimming pool and yes it does need updating but they know it does and hopefully will be starting some time in the new year. Just a little thing some people are always cold but some of use feel the heat alot more the hotel is very much on the hot side luckily we were able to open both windows in our room . Just so you know you will be asked for a £50 deposit by card Just incase of damages in the room, it's always a shame that this has happened and they now have to do it to everyone including us oldies. I would still come and stay again in the future.

Greeted with a smile at reception and given our room key on arrival. We were then given information about the swim facilities and dinner booking with breakfast. The room looked very luxurious but on closer inspection it was a little fired. Scratches all over the doors and water damage in the bathroom due to forceful pressure on tap. We had a lovely steak dinner but service wasn’t great. We had to ask for puddings of cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding to die for. The entertainment however was spot on with picture quiz, music, movie quiz and bingo. The guy was very attentive but was constantly talking about other staff members being ** lazy to off duty staff. I got the impression that he was head guy as kept telling people what to do. Overall the stay was lovely and we would come back especially for the quiz night. Pool facilities were a bit disappointing as the pool was small and no private changing facilities. As I am a curvy girl and embarrassed at getting changed in front of others.

From the moment we drove into courtyard it felt so welcoming. Reception luxury and receptionists so pleasant. Greeted by a lovely we dog. Said hello Then left us alone. Room was well sized and just where we asked for due to mobility was very well situated for restaurant. Meals were amazing and service and staff so attentive nothing to much trouble Every member of staff giving 100%. Was a special birthday and anniversary and it was a great hotel to stay for these celebrations. We will be back.

Lovely comfortable rooms, great food, lovely staff in a great location. Disappointed with spa when advertised as a spa break, although there were disclaimers everywhere to state that the spa was awaiting an upgrade this wasnt communicated at time of booking. Would return following spa refresh.

Pleasantly surprised, very nice room in a very nice hotel in quiet nice surroundings. Staff were very friendly and professional. Food was great and the service was top notch.
