We had a lovely break here. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. We had a family room for 4 and it was extremely spacious and modern. Would definitely use this hotel again! Leisure facilities fab too.

Lovely welcome, friendly helpful reception staff throughout our stay, who phoned just a couple of minutes after we had entered our room to make sure all was as we expected - a nice touch. Evening meals were delicious and good value. Would recommend this hotel.

We have lost count of the number of times we have returned to the King's Manor. It provides good value for money, a well-improved restaurant and we were allocated a very good room. We can also recommend this hotel for its convenience; simply park your car and take the 44 bus right into Edinburgh-no parking charges and no time worries!

Booked this hotel with gift vouchers received as a gift for my recent retirement.It was also our wedding anniversary weekend so we were delighted to be given one of the club rooms which was very spacious and comfortable and located in a quiet area of the hotel.The food in the Bistro was excellent and the service was excellent yet relaxed and friendly.The location of the hotel was perfect right on the bus route into the city and close to Portobello beach. On the second night we ate in the Lauders restaurant. Again staff service was attentive but inobtrusive and food was very good. We also used the leisure facilities which are spotlessly clean and well equipped. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will use it again when next in Edinburgh as it is well located away from the hustle and bustle of the city but very easy for access to all the attractions.

We stayed three nights at Kings Manor Hotel, Edin. I have mobility problems and use either a wheelchair or walker so the room we were given on the ground floor was terrific; very comfortable, spacious and accessible. We were very well received and looked after during our stay and will certainly come back again.

Among the best rooms we've ever stayed in. Large, nicely decorated and very clean with huge, comfy beds. Attention to detail fantastic for example: loads of electric sockets , pull out washing line in bathroom, fast boiling small kettle, play station for DVDs or games (you can borrow games from reception) good lighting, plenty mirrors. Staff great.

Great hotel within easy access to Edinburgh city and attractions, fabulous leisure facilities, and helpful staff. We have been in 4 an 5 star hotels that have been poorer than this 3 star! Great value for money.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay, room was great. Was particularly impressed with reception staff, very welcoming and helpful. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived, but we were given complimentary drinks while we waited. Have already booked again for November!
