we had an excellent club room. only ate breakfast at hotel but selection was good, Bus stop right outside hotel to get to city centre, ideal for leaving car.

This was a gift for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. They got back today ' said the had a fantastic time. They said the Hotel was amazing, the staff were friendly & the meals were fantastic. The personal touch of a signed card for them for their a Anniversary just made it that more special. So a great big thank you from myself for making their stay special & a great big thank you from my parents for making it memorable. I will be recommending the hotel highly.

Booked for husbands birthday with grown up kids and partners, including 3yr old grandson. Got upgraded rooms which are fantastic, spotlessly clean, huge with enormous beds which are so comfortable, wish I had one at home! Enjoyed the leisure facilities, pool, sauna and jacuzzi. With the bus stop just outside hotel and buses cheap its easy to get into the city and nice change not having to drive. Dinner included for 2 nights, food great, allowance more than adequate for 2 courses, no-one could manage 3 courses. Good choice for breakfast. All in all we all had a great time, would throughly recommend this hotel and will certainly be back.

Had a fantastic family room (club room)with lovely decor and a great bathroom. Lighting in the room could have been improved but that's the only negative I can come up with. Every staff member we came into contact with was polite and eager to help.

This was our third visit to the Kings Manor and wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Edinburgh. All in all a very enjoyable stay as it has been in the past. The rooms are spotless and the staff are very helpful. The food is lovely and I would recommend it to family and friends!

Was disappointed not allowed in bar with children. Would have been nice to relax for a little while after dinner. Have never encountered this before in a Scottish hotel. this was the only area which had televisions showing football, so my son was disappointed he could not watch. Restaurant, whilst providing good food was lacking any kind of atmosphere. Also, whilst several other hotels we have stayed in through classic Britain allow you to use the meal allowance to cover food and drink taken with meals, this hotel only allows the allowance to be used towards food and they were certainly lucky during our stay, as we did not reach near our limit at any time. Hotel was nice and rooms and food very good, pity about the annoying little things which make you think twice about a return visit.

Had a great time ate in the bistro again was going to order food using the salad bar but the choice was very limited so did not choose this option the food we did order was lovely.

This was a second room booking for friends to join us for a special event. The hotel service was great and the staff very helpful. A pleasant stay was had by all.

Although I was initially concerned about not getting the special break I had planned, as a large function had reduced access to the main restaurant, the reception staff were able to offer an alternative which was fine. The swimming pool and spa were great however it would have been better had we been able to have access to bath robes for our use during the stay. All in all a pleasant stay and would use this hotel again. Excellent base for access to Edinburgh

Our only problem was the room was so hot. Even with radiators off.A fan would not have dealt with the heat. Environmentally it would have been good to be able to have the heat reduced on arrival and the choice of boosting it our selves
