Once again we were very pleased indeed with you superb hospitality and service!!!The Lauders Restaurant does need upgrading but we feel the chosen colour scheme coulld be brighter. The "woodwork" and wall decorations also need "modernizing" and making much brighter We now use the Options Bistro and we feel much happier there. Indeed the food and service are excellent. We wil return for sure. V Bilsborough

Lovely hotel and great location for travelling into town without the expense of parking in city centre

We all had a great time at the kings manor hotel. The only down side for me was the buffet breakfast, l prefer to have it made to order.A big thanks to Classic Britain .

Would have liked bottled water in bedroom rather than having to use bathroom taps

Rooms were super, there were 5 of us staying under separate bookings and the lady at reception moved things around so we could all be close together. this was so much appreciated and reflected the level of customer service all weekend.

Fantastic value for money with our 4 night midweek deal. Amazing club rooms allocated to us, great spa & pool facities, and a bus hop away from the city centre. Food very good, and penty of it. The only negatives are Lauders Dining Room is a bit drab, but this is about to be upgraded so that's being addressed, and there's always the Bistro which was very nice with a more casual atmosphere. One small point food wise, and I find this with a lot of cooked breakfasts, put some premium quality sauages on the menu, it's so much nicer. Finally I have to mention the staff as many others have, so helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. I would really like to visit Edinburgh again sometime, and I see no reason to look for another hotel deal, I would be very happy to return to the Kings Manor.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay, booked standard room but due to their 'best room available' policy got upgraded to 'club room' Lovely spacious quiet room, had everything needed for a good nights sleep even had a view of Arthur's seat. Hotel was very clean and the staff were very attentive. Large free car park, and bus stop outside, recommend buying the day ticket giving you access to all the city sights. No need to use the car.

we had a lovely stay as always, felt the bistro staff were run of their feet, and had quite a wait for food, I also felt the chef didn't have time to deal with special diets which was no problem on times when we visited.I have a gluten allergy and there was no bread, crumpets etc. and only a fibre roll on two mornings nothing at all on third morning

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. Great location and easy access to the city centre. Enjoyed the facilities and my husband even managed a spin class in the gym. Staff very friendly and helpful and we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a club room. Would have given a 10/10 for food as evening meals were delicious but some of the items in the breakfast buffet, particularly on the second morning, were cold so deducted a point. Would highly recommend this hotel though and I would definitely go back.
