We had a lovely stay. It was our first visit but my son had been before and told us about it. We loved our room (206). I had a laugh when I saw the height of the bed. I could have done with a step to get into it. Ha ha Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and I would definitely recommend it.

Third stay at hotel...very Cosy and comfortable. Room 201 in need of a little care and attention but not enough for any concerns. Food in restaraunt excellent quality and value for money , breakfast more than ample. Overall ,great stay in an "older style" hotel that has an ample ammount of character. Staff very helpful and informative. Would stay again,especially through the Classic Britain website which often provides unbelievably cheap deals on this hotel in the beautiful city of Inverness.

We have been using classic Britain over the last 6 years, staying at various hotels, we have been to the royal highland in inverness at least twice a year in the six years, we cannot fault it.staff are always so welcoming and helpful, bedrooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Food and service both in the hotel and ash restaurant are first class.

We enjoyed our short stay at the royal highland and would recommend for short stays, only downside is a lack of parking facilities for patrons.

This was the first time I had stayed in this Hotel and although it has a lovely entrance and stair case nothing else really excited me. Our room was clean and furnished suitably although you were unable to watch the television due to the table it was on and the worst thing was there was no view we looked on to wall. I will use Classic Britain site to book more hotels but not this one. Carol Robertson

The hotel was good, the staff helpful and friendly, the room comfortable and a good size but the breakfast was disappointing particularly the tea/coffee and juice machines - the fluid from which had no recognisable connection to the description

A pleasant one night stay. Impressive entrance , quick check in and friendly welcoming staff. Bedroom was clean, room a bit small and stuffy but only staying one night. Lovely breakfast, plenty choice.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The hotel is very well run although it is in need of some upgrading, although it looks as though this appears to be getting underway with new carpeting in the main areas. The breakfast was very varied although some of the cooked food was rather dry and hard. We did not have dinner as the restaurant was fully booked but from what we could see it looked very nice and the food was very well presented. Our bedroom was very small but had tea,coffee, water, hairdrier and toiletries and was extremely clean with clean towels on second day.

THE ROOM,ALTHOUGH SMALL,WAS CLEAN AND THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE.IT WAS RATHER HOT AS WE WERE UNABLE TO OPEN A WINDOW.THE WIFI DID NOT WORK VERY WELL AND WE WERE SURPRISED THAT THERE WAS A CHARGE.THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT WITH A VERY GOOD CHOICE.HOWEVER MY WIFE WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH HER CHOICE OF SALAD,AND WE HAD TO WAIT A LONG TIME FOR OUR MEAL.IT WAS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY.
